I got back to where Theresa was located and stopped right outside the door. I threw my fist into the wall. She was dead. Brenda was gone. And it was all because of me. I wiped most the tears from my face and walked into the lab.
"Thomas, thank god your back, wait where's Brenda?" She questioned.
"She's... she's.... Gone," I my eyes started to fill with tears again. We stayed quiet for a few minutes until I said something.
"She's gone forever."
"I'm sorry Thomas, it will be ok." she got up and walked over and hugged me."but at least, you still have me forever." she looked up and smiled.
"That is true," I laughed, looking down at her grey-blue eyes. "your mine forever." Then, I kissed her. Theresa stood on the top of the toes, trying to get to my height because she was too tiny.
"I love you," she said. "and I really do, after everything I've done it may seem like it, but I really did everything just to save you."
