"Be my boyfriend."

When Jinhwan heard those words, his head unconsciously shifted to the opposite side and gave the man a weird, confused look.

"What?!" He felt like he heard him wrong, so he needed another affirmation.

"You heard me. I want you to be my boyfriend." The man didn't glance at Jinhwan and just focused on the road.

Jinhwan took a moment to process what Junhoe just said. He couldn't tell whether it was mean to offend him, or he really was telling the truth which his mind couldn't fathom.

"Stop picking on me. I don't need a boyfriend. Now, let me off please." He replied when his thoughts were clear, but he was feeling a little nervous.

Junhoe let a sharp exhale and smirked. He slowly stepped hard on the accelerator and Jinhwan could feel his back being pushed on his seat with the car slowly speeding up.

"Y-Yah! What are you doing?!" He hysterically called out while finding his hands gripping tightly at the upper handle above his head.

"I'm not slowing down unless you give me the answer I want." After saying those words, Junhoe stepped even harder on the gas. From 100km/h, the number behind his wheel is now slowly going up to 110... 120...130...

Junhoe easily swayed his car on the hi-way, overtaking every car in front of him with full speed and not minding the honking from the cars he passed by.

"Are you crazy?! Please! You're going to cause an accident!" Jinhwan couldn't help but yell at the man behind the wheels, who just remained calm and teasing.

"Be my boyfriend, then." Junhoe casually repeated.

"No!! Please stop!" Jinhwan's hands felt numb from grabbing the handle. He could feel his heartbeat racing. Beads of sweats were starting to form from his forehead and his nape.

"I won't stop even the lights turn red unless you say yes."

Determined, Junhoe even sped up more and Jinhwan's eyes almost dropped when he saw a stoplight closing in with an orange signal. Despite the yelling and pleading, their car only whooshed on the street like a wind and Jinhwan firmly shut his eyes out of fright.

Junhoe curved his lips higher when they were almost at the intersection – lights are now red, but he has no sign of stopping.

"Stoooooooooop!!" Jinhwan's voice resonated inside the vehicle.

A loud screeching sound caught the attention of the people walking beside the sidewalks, along with the heads from behind the wheels of those few cars on the road

Jinhwan felt his body bumped in an invisible force the second the vehicle stopped. He bounced back on his seat and it took him almost 10 seconds to grasp on his current state. He felt his breathing hitched and his chest slightly hurt from too much fright. Flashes of blurry memories appeared in his subconscious, but he tried to calm himself despite the struggle.
