Ace opened his eyes, his room was filled with light. He reached over to his nightstand and grabbed his phone, he looked at the clock. It read "13:04." Ace sat up, and then got out of bed.

"What a strange dream I had," he thought. Ace put on daywear (just a simple outfit, a purple hoodie and grey jeans, he decided to not wear his binder since he's already worn it enough this week) and he headed out of his room and to the kitchen. As he prepared food, he kind of had forgotten about the dream, as he was focused on something else. Ace sat down and ate an egg sandwich, which was messy of course, because he left the yolk uncooked because he isn't a fucking monster, despite what he (and others) sometimes think. Once he was done, he cleaned up his small mess. Ace put up his dishes and left the kitchen.

As Ace was sat on the couch, he started zoning out and thinking of other things, he eventually started thinking about the dream he had that night.

"What was that dream about again.."

"All I can remember is a book, and something about the 4th wall?"
"Why was I dreaming about the 4th wall,"

"And why was I having dreams about being a girl again, I don't want to be that again."
As he was sitting on the couch, his friend, Luna, came out of their room. They walked over to where Ace was sitting, and leaned herself on the couch.

"What'cha thinking about," she asked. Ace jumped at the sound of their voice.

"Oh nothing much, just a dream I had, and a bunch of other things, you know how it is."

"What was the dream about?"

"I don't actually remember now, that I lost my train of thought

"Oh,"
Luna walked away and went to the kitchen. Ace got up, turned off the TV, and went back to his room. He sat on his bed and stared out his window.

"Wow, I managed to do all of this, I managed to grow all of this,"

"It's strange to think about how one simple.. human?.. can do all of this,"

"What even am I, would I be considered a human, or something else?"
Ace shook his head, grabbed his phone, and gave himself something to do for a few hours.
