Enrollment Part 1

Minako's POV

"So I heard you are moving out of the compound" the voice of my cousin Takahiro Sora was heard behind me. "Of course, I got accepted to the First Highschool at Tokyo. It would be much easier if I moved somewhere near the institute" I simply replied.

"Well congrats on being accepted, although I still worry about you being there. Based on intel it seems like one of the leaders of Blanche was sighted near Tokyo" Sora sighed. "Nothing for you to worry about I can defend myself perfectly fine" "I know but still one can't help but worry we are family after all"

I turned to Sora then showed him a small smile "Like I said, no need the worry I'm an elite magician with a Herrscher core within me. it would take more than a simple organization as that to take me down". Sora merely sighed again "I know, I know. Just be careful okay" "Alright Sora, I will".

Time skip

'So in this school they made some sort of discrimination "Weeds" and "Blooms". The Blooms have a higher privilege than the Weeds... This will certainly cause some problems in the future.'

as I walked inside the auditorium, it was painfully obvious on how the discrimination is, this will be a problem. I walked to an empty seat. beside the seat was a girl with black hair and glasses. "Excuse me this seat is not taken right?" I asked. "Ah n-no this seat is open" she replied. "Alright then, please excuse me" I then sat down.

'her eyes aren't something normal...don't tell me those are...ahh that would be bad if she were to see me without her glasses. I don't want her to be scared of me.'

"...Shiba Tatsuya, Nice to meet you." I overheard the male spoke. Seems like I zoned out too long.

"and what about your name?" a girl with orange red hair asked me. "Sorry for not introducing myself earlier, My name is Kuroba Minako, nice to meet you all"

"Likewise Kuroba-chan, My name is Chiba Erika" "M-My name is Shibata Mitsuki, Nice to meet you too" the girl beside me spoke. "Shiba Tatsuya. pleasure to meet you" The male spoke, introducing himself again.

"Hehe don't you guys think it's a coincidence? our last names almost rhyme... you know Shiba, Shibata, Chiba and Kuroba" Erika spoke while pointing at us. "it would seem so" I replied.

"Attention everyone. We will now begin the Matriculation Ceremony for the National Magic University Affiliated First High School" an announcer spoke. I focused my attention to the front again, and saw a familiar face. 'Saegusa Mayumi the Student Council President, she was certainly ecstatic when I told her I was accepted to the school.'

Time Skip

"It's a shame that we have different courses, you three are my first acquaintances" I spoke up while looking at my student card. "Awww it's fine Minako - chan, we can always meet together during lunch" Erika replied.

"hmm, if it's fine by you guys" I replied. "I don't mind it" "fine by me!" "I-It's alright" were the replies I get.

"Brother?" a female's voice was heard from behind us. We all turn around to see the girl from the ceremony running to Tatsuya. "Thank you for waiting" she spoke. With a smile Tatsuya replied "That was quick".

"Minakooo you really are here! I'm glad" I heard Mayumi yell while running to me with Hattori behind her. "Mayumi... It's been a while, how are you?" I spoke with a small smile, giving a nod to Hattori as a greeting. "It certainly has, and I'm fine. I'm so happy that you joined this highschool. I'm hoping you would join the Student Council later, ohhh I can't wait." She rambled on.

"I will okay, let me get used to this school first before you put me in the council." I spoke a bit exasperated with her. "Okay then! ah hello Shiba-san we meet again." Tatsuya merely bowed back in greeting, meanwhile Hattori scoffed at him. I glared at him as a warning to be nice, he flinched a bit before averting his gaze.

Miyuki then immediately bowed in greeting to us. "Ah! I'm so sorry I haven't introduce myself earlier, My name is Shiba Miyuki. It's nice to meet you". "My name is Kuroba Minako, pleasure to meet you as well. I hope we can be friends as we are classmates" I replied before bowing back as well. She smiled at me and replied "Sure! let's be friends" . then Mitsuki and Erika introduced themselves as well.

Tatsuya then spoke up "Miyuki, are the people from the Student Council done with you?". "It's alright, All we did today was introduce ourselves" Mayumi replied. "President?!" Hattori whisper-yelled but was ignored by Mayumi. "Miyuki...we'll go in to more detail next time we meet. Minako and Shiba, Let's have a nice long chat sometime" Mayumi then bowed before leaving with Hattori following, after giving Tatsuya a glare.

"I'm sorry brother, It's all my fault..." Miyuki spoke up once Mayumi and Hattori were out of sight. Tatsuya then touched her cheek making her blush "No need for you to apologize" his reply made her blush even more. "Brother..." she trailed off.

"uhh how about we go and check our classrooms" Erika decided to break the awkward atmosphere. "Yeah let's go" I replied while walking to the campus with the others following beside me. "By the way, Minako-chan you seem to be pretty close with the student prez." Erika spoke while pointing at me.

"Ah that's because our families are quite close, so our parents like to set up some playdates for us. you can think of us a childhood friends" I replied. "ohh so that's how it is, It's nice that you have someone you're familiar with in the school." "I guess so."

Time Skip (again...)

"Seems like we're apartment neighbors, Tatsuya, Miyuki." I spoke while standing in front of the apartment with them. "I'm glad we get to be neighbors, Kuroba." Miyuki spoke with a big smile on her face "Likewise Miyuki and Tatsuya, let's get along well. oh and please call me Minako"

"Alright then as a welcome to our new friend and neighbor, Minako please come over to our house! Let's eat dinner together" Miyuki spoke. "If it's really alright with you guys, I don't want to intrude." "It's alright, we did invite you" Tatsuya replied. "Right then, let me take a quick shower and a change of clothes then I'll come to your room" I spoke while walking to my room.

"Okay then! I'll get dinner ready." Miyuki spoke with a beaming smile. "hey, at least let me help with making dinner, It's the least I could do for you guys inviting me." I spoke with a small smile.

'Tatsuya seems to be skeptical of me, as long as he doesn't know about my abilities then it should be fine'

"Haha okay then Minako! see you later" "yeah, see you later."

Long story short dinner with the siblings was nice, me and Miyuki chatted quite a lot with Tatsuya chiming in a few times. Miyuki seems to have already trusted me , meanwhile Tatsuya looks like he is starting to trust me a little bit.

'As long as the truth remains hidden, then maybe I can live a normal highschool life with them'
