I woke up ready for school. I went downstairs and my mom told me to take the car.
I took the car to school and went straight in. I walked up Jimin. But he walked away. I was screwed if I wanted his attention I'd have to force him to talk to me.
I spent the whole day with Jennie thinking about ways to get Jimin to talk to me.

It was the end of the day and I was about to head home but saw Jimin heading to his car. I ran up to him and grabbed his arm forcing him to look at me. He looked at me and pulled his arm away.
Jimin: what
Me: I'm sorry I do love you
Jimin: I'm sorry y/n but-
Me: no I'm sorry I know I'm a bitch I know I'm stupid but please you're literally the only guy that I can truly talk to. I love you * I teared up*

Jimin: come to school tomorrow and kiss me with the hall full of people. Show me you love me. And I'll think about taking you back

I kiss his cheek and go to my car. I think about what he just said... kiss him in the crowded hall ... with all the cool kids?!? Uhhh okay? I am so so scared but I have to prove to him.
I went straight home to figure out what to do.
When my mom came home she gave me a early happy birthday
Mom: HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUMPKIN
she walked in with a cake and balloons.
Mom: happy birthday!! Since I'm not gonna be here tomorrow.. I'm sorry baby
Me: its okay mom . Thanks tho
Mom: Youre 17 .... How ya feeling??
Me: older. Ohhhh my back ! It hurts

Mom: anyway I got you a present..
Me: huh what is it
Mom: since you already have your permit .. and soon a license. I got you this
She pulled keys out her pocket.
Me: WHAT?! YOU GOT A CAR ??
Mom: YESSS AHAHA
Me: OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU
we both went outside and saw the car ...

Mom: watch ya mouth
Me: okay sorry
Mom: GO go for a test drive. Hang with your friends

Mom: yes I am. I have work anyway

I go back in the house to get my phone and shoes (I had socks on outside). I ran downstairs and went to my car. Wow that felt good to say ... ✨ my car ✨. Yay I said bye to mom and went to Jennies house. I texted her.

Me and Jennie left to hang out at the mall and get food. We got clothes for each other and all that jazz. After we had our fun we went home and I went in my house.

I went to the cake as she came downstairs.
Mom: now let's sing.
We put the candles on the cake and sang happy birthday.
Me: I wish dad was here
Mom: mee too hun. But it's okay cause tomorrow when I'm off we'll go see him.
Me: but that's another state..
Mom: his funeral was there but he was buried here.
Me: ohhh why
Mom: he wanted to see his daughter live his life and be a good kid
Me: well im doing well huh.
I kissed mom goodnight and I went upstairs to sleep.
