- it's set in the same time period and almost everything is the same with the following exceptions:
- a majority of/my favorite modern music artists and all their songs exist
- there's modern resources for trans peeps, like binders, hormones, etc
- beauty standards are verrrryyy loose but mostly modern
- everyone my age has gen z humor
- there's no homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, fatphobia, etc and being lgbtq+ is considered normal
- radio is more advanced and used in a modern way (like mostly for music) rather than wars or whatever
- instant cameras have already been invented
- all modern books exist
- tanjiro is trans and his dysphoria is barely there [i have a trans tanjiro hc and i also just don't want an all cishet friend group 💀]
- in terms of worldbuilding and shit everything will be the same as in the anime/manga but look and be like real life and 3d
- platonic affection is normalized [i wanna hug tanjiro, inosuke, and zenitsu so mf badly ‼️‼️]
- music that suits the occasion plays whenever it's appropriate and everyone hears it but nobody thinks anything of it or mentions it [cos like,, imagine how badass it would b to fight demons w background music]
- if it's a situation where everyone is fighting one demon or like there's 4 things for 4 ppl there'll always be an extra demon, person, thing, etc for me. (ex: in the house w the temari demon there was one demon for each of the three boys, so there'd be an extra demon or something for me)
- everyone can see the effects when someone uses a breathing technique or demon blood art, like in the show
- some rules of biology don't apply, so like tanjiro can have white pupils, shinobu's hair can naturally be purple ombré, zenitsu can have his pupil-less eyes and naturally choppy hair, etc and the functions will all b normal
b) rules
- nothing i see will traumatize me and i always find a way to not be killed, maimed, etc. no matter the situation
- nobody i care about can die or be seriously maimed unless it goes along with kny canon
- muzan can't kill me, inflict fatal wounds on me, put me into a coma, generally fuck me up, etc
- I can edit my script in my DR and it takes immediate action
- apart from any changes i've scripted, everything follows demon slayer canon
- i don't get unhealthily attached to my dr
- i'm immune from and can't die from disease, infection, sickness, etc. and i can't get cavities or go blind, deaf, etc
- i'll gain all my past memories once i've shifted
- i'm immune from ptsd
- after i meet tanjiro, zenitsu, and inosuke, i become part of their group. so like, whenever there's a place/mission/etc those three go, i'll go as well
- nobody will be able to tell i've shifted unless i want them to know or tell them and if someone reads my memories or whatever they'll only see stuff from my dr
- i can't leave my dr by accident
c) cr, dr, etc
- time command: when i've shifted, 1 hour in or = 12 hours in dr; when i leave, 24 hours in or = 1 minute in dr
- i'll remember the languages and skills i know/learn when i come back to my cr
- i can only come back to my cr when i genuinely want to, and/or say my safe word, which is 'y'all ugly'. and i never forget it.
- i have a lifa notebook shown below. normally it just looks like a sketch book but when i tap it three times with my right index and middle finger the contents turn into a lifa notebook which contains: a page on my clone, what they're doing, an option to give them things to do, etc; a page on my dr's and an option to go to them and add new ones; a couple pages that have my script; etc. i can tap on and move around certain things like it's a tablet or smth. to get out of lifa mode i just have to close the book. ripping out a page while in sketchbook mode doesn't have any effect on the lifa part.

- i won't remember the plot of the show, any spoilers i've seen, or anything i wouldn't normally already know based on my dr self's current knowledge once i've shifted (so i won't know what's gonna happen next)
- when i get back to my cr i'll remember everything that happened in my dr in great detail
- i'll know i've shifted because i'll hear birds chirping outside and my eyes will automatically open, then i'll hear urokodaki saying something to wake tanjiro and i up
- it's unlikely, but if i accidentally shift to the wrong reality i can say 'donald duck dong' with intention and i automatically go to the reality i want [it was the first thing that popped into my head, leave me alone 💀]
