(Nichkhun is jealous)

You and Nichkhun were best friends for the longest of times. He, obviously, was oblivious to how you feel about him.

The first person to notice was Taecyeon. He urged you to express your feelings, but a tiny insecurity made you worry that this would effect the bond that the two of you had for so many years.

Besides Taecyeon, Minjun also noticed it. Then, Wooyoung, Junho and finally Chansung. The rest of the members figured out how to get a confession out of the two of you.

It was Wooyoung's birthday and everyone decided to do some BBQ. Being the babies of the group, he and Junho hatched a plan.

"[Y/N]~~~", Wooyoung was extra clingy with you today, hugging you nonstop while you cut up some vegetables.

Chansung jabbed his two other hyungs and pointed out how Nichkhun looked as if he's about to smack Wooyoung off of [Y/N]. After serving the food, you would always sit next to Nichkhun, but Junho literally dragged you, while you're sitting on the chair, and set you beside him.

"[Y/N] always sits next to me", said Nichkhun.

"You always have her, hyung", Junho draped his arms around you before leaning back.

"What are you guys doing?", Nichkhun asked.

"What do you mean?", Taecyeon shoved a forkful of meat in his mouth.

"You guys are never this clingy around [Y/N]. Why is that?", Nichkhun crossed his arms.

"What's wrong with you? We're always like this with [Y/N]", Minjun shrugged.

"Oppa is right. Are you ok, Khunnie?", you asked.

"[Y/N]~, can I have that? I really miss your cooking~", Chansung batted his lashes.

Nichkhun abruptly got up and the maknaes snickered. You quickly got up to chase after Nichkhun.

He was by the front door and ready to go. You pulled him by the arm before he could grasp the doorknob.

"What's wrong with you?! You never act like this!", you said.

"What's wrong with me?! What's wrong with you, hanging around them as if it's nothing!?", he raised his voice.

You frowned. "They're my friends too, Khun. We're always like that. Is there something wrong? You know you can tell me anything...", you softened down, refusing to fight on Wooyoung's birthday.

"I like you, ok?! I wanted to say that for a while now, but I didn't know how to...", he sighed, "...I'm sorry, [Y/N]. I'm scared to lose your love and your friendship...".

You pinched his cheeks and giggled. "I like you too, Khunnie. I wanted to confess too, but that makes the two of us".

"I think it's an advantage to date your best friend because we already know each other so well", he smiled.

"If you two are done, can we now?", you and Nickhun to see the giant maknae looking very hungry with the rest of the members behind him.

"[Y/N], hyung, hurry~~~. We're hungry~!", Wooyoung whined.

"Come on, Khunnie, your babies are hungry", you giggled.
