THIRD POV

Senju's eyes flickered, looking all around the classroom and drifting back to Y/N— as if hinting she wanted talk. But as soon as she looked back, she realized they were sleeping peacefully on their desk...

The open window in the classroom was opened, causing the breeze to gently blow strands of y/n's hair, revealing their closed eyes and the drool spilling out of their mouth. Noticing this, Senju faced the front of the classroom and sighed. Senju pouted once finding out they fell asleep. Her eyes stared back at the clock, waiting for it to reach 3:15pm.

"Why is it taking so damn long?!" Senju said in her mind, not realizing the aggravated expression she had on her face. Unconsciously clicking the mechanical pencil over and over, causing the entire lead to fall out of her pencil. 

3:15pm

The bell rang, causing Y/N to almost fall out of her seat after being awake their uncomfortable yet nice nap. Y/N, Senju, along with their classmates immediately stood up to bow and thank their teacher. 

Senju turned to face Y/N with a wide grin, "Lets hang out!" She said abruptly, her voice loud enough to gain some attention from her classmates, who weren't surprised at her volume-- Lets say, Senju had a way of making herself known

Before Y/N ever got a chance to answer, Senju grabbed y/n's hand once she finished packing her bag, causing her to almost lose grip. They ran through the hallway, heading straight to the doors. Though the teachers complained about the fact that they were running in the halls, Senju and y/n ignored them.

We shopped at some clothing shops, carrying all the bags we had and walked together until we went to an abrupt stop. They came across a a vending machine called seventeen ice creams.

"Oh, this is the same Ice cream brand i tried last time!" senju said as she brought her purse out of her bag and took out ¥130 to put into the slot .

Y/N looked into her wallet, checking to see if they had any yen left. "I can't get ice cream, I already spent it all when we went shopping" y/n admitted, a sad expression on her face, while looking at each of the flavors written on the vending machine.

"You don't?" Senju asked, her eyes surprised and faced Y/N, holding the ice cream in her other hand.

Noticing how sad Y/N looked, Senju dangled the ice cream package in front of Y/N, causing them to stare in confusion. "I'm giving this to you," Senju grabbed Y/N's hand and placed it into their palm. "Go ahead and try it!"

"Are you sure? you didn't have buy the ice cream for me," looking back up at Senju. 

"It's fine really, you can always pay me back later"

"Now hurry and try it before it melts!" Senju ushered Y/N, causing them to open the ice cream package. They were about to taste the mint chocolate ice cream, but paused, becoming aware at how close Senju was to them. 

Their heart started racing, making it harder to make eye contact. The moment between them changed and Y/N and Senju felt it. It was like everything completely faded into the background. Once Y/N took a bite, they immediately tasted the fresh mint along with the small chips of rich chocolate melting into their mouth. The blend was perfect-- a cool, yet refreshing favor which greatly satisfied their taste buds. "I-It tastes good!" Y/N said excitingly, the delicious blend still lingering in their mouth.

"Right, Takemichi introduced me to it!" Senju said as she put rested her hands against their hips.

"Who's Takemichi?" they asked, feeling mixed emotions, wondering what Takemichi was to Senju.

"Oh he's my gofer!"

"....."

"HUH??" Y/N stood still, dumbfounded about what Senju said.

"I meant, he's the one who joined our gang recently." Senju clarified, "Also, you should eat your ice cream, I don't want it to go to waste!" Y/N noticed the pout Senju had, causing her to gulp, then forced themselves to finish the ice cream quicker.

"That's the spirit!" Senju said smiling towards y/n, her eyes squinted and her mouth showed a big smile. Senju's eyes went back to their normal size and were greeted with a smile back.

Senju eyes softening, looking back at Y/N, noticing her heart skip a beat. A pink tint gently spreading onto her cheeks. Without a word,Senju unconsciously moved forward, her hands cupping Y/N's cheek while putting her lips against theirs.

The familiar taste of choco mint lingered on their lips. Once Senju moved back, she moved both of her hands behind her back.

"When we hang out, let's enjoy choco mint together again, alright?" she said as she waved goodbye. Y/N stood still, shocked from the kiss they just shared earlier, though still waving back at Senju's retreating figure. Their mind still racing with thoughts as to what happened earlier, they raised their finger towards their lips, a small smile spreading across their face.

"Yeah, let's eat choco mint together"
