Chapter 8: In Hiding

Nobody's pov

The whole group was gathered in the throne room.

"WHAT?!!" Shouted Nightmare in rage ready to strangle someone to death after Dust, Killer and Horror explained to him about what happened in the ruins. "My idiot brother came and took (Y/N) away!?"

"Y-yes boss, but it ain't our fault, we were about to grab her but Dream and those star idiots came " Dust said nervously

"But at least we've captured those villagers that she hid with." Horror replied.

"That may be true but you idiots still let (Y/N) get away!"

"DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF!?"

I room was silent.

"*Sigh*" Nightmare said as he rubbed his eye sockets mumbling to himself.

"Leave me for now. But if any of you manage to find where they're hiding, bring (Y/N) to me unharmed. Is that understood?"

They nodded before teleporting out of the room leaving Nightmare alone on his throne.

Nightmare's pov

"Grrr how I hate you Dream. You always ruin everything I almost had her but you had to come and ruin everything." I thought to myself growling before smirking

"Heh it doesn't matter...you can't hide her forever...when I find you I'll make sure you suffer for what pain you've caused me." 

I teleported to my room. I lied on my bed getting ready to go to the dreamscape to find (Y/N)'s dream so I could have a 'chat' with her. Before I slept I thought of torturous things I will to Dream when I find him and what I will do when I get (Y/N) back.

"Well (Y/N)...heh it seems that our reunion will be short for a bit. But when I find you I won't let you leave me again...just you wait." I thought as I shut my eye lid.

(Y/N)'s pov

I mumbled a little before waking up, lying on some kind of couch. I got up looking around seeing that I was in a different house.

I rubbed my head when I felt it in pain. "Ugh...my head hurts...what happened?" I said to myself.

My head shot up after my memories came back to me on what happened. Tears began forming before streaming out of my eyes. 

I was lost in thought of the pain that I felt until I heard footsteps coming. I looked seeing someone that I thought was gone. Dream.

"(Y/N)!/Dream!" We both shouted as we ran to each other embracing in a hug. 

"I was worried that you wouldn't wake up" Dream said. I tightened my grip on him as tears streamed.

"I thought I would never see you again, old friend." I said.

We broke our hug. "I know that you have lots of questions to ask and I assure you that they will be answered." He said.

"B-but Nightmare...h-he-" I began

"I know and I'm sorry. We weren't able to get those people out of there." He said looking down in shame and guilt.

"But your safe now. Nightmare will never find you here. And we will protect you if he finds us"
