Ella POV

I was laying in bed when Caroline came barging into my room. It didn't surprise me because she and I have been getting extremely close the past couple days. It's as if I have known her forever.

"El, get out of bed!" She demanded pulling the covers off of me.

"Caroline!" I groaned.

"We need to get you all pretty for tonight so Klaus is drooling on you for the plan. Everyone we know got a printed invitation. You must have too, right? Let me see it." She said, pulling the rest of the blanket off of me.

"What makes you think he even "likes" me? Maybe he's just being nice so he can kill me when I least expect it?" I said sitting up, yawning.

"Hello? This is Klaus. He doesn't wait to kill you. He just does it. Now get out of bed and show me the invitation so we can go shopping and do our makeup and hair." She demanded once again, this time walking to my closet grabbing clothes for me to wear. She threw them at me and walked around my room.

"This room is so cute." She started looking around and opening the drapes while I started getting dressed.

"Hey, El? What is this?" She asked while I slipped on my shirt.

"What?" I walked to her.

"This cute box." She said picking it up.

"Oh, it's nothing." I said walking away, realizing it was the box Klaus gave me that I didn't open.

"Well, it's an adorable box, not opened. You should open it. It says your name. And look, it says its from Paris" She said bringing it to the bed, squealing that it was from Paris.

"No, It's okay."

"C'mon, Ella." She said untying the box.

"Caroline-" I got cut off.

"Holy crap!" She yelled.

"What?" I said walking over.

"It's a hot dress! Awe, who got this for you and why didn't you open it?" She asked pulling the dress out.

"It doesn't matter." I answered, trying to avoid having to tell her.

"Ella, who was it?" She asked, now very suspicious.

"No one, Car." I mumbled, brushing my hair.

"Ella?" She said, raising an eyebrow. She walked to my bedside table and found the invitation.

"Well, here's the damn thing I asked you to show me. Wait, what is this?" She asked, flipping it.

"Oh my god... 'Save me a dance or 2'? Klaus!" She said reading it.

"Klaus did?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Klaus did?" She asked, raising her eyebrows
