An All-Out Pursuit Towards Self-Discovery
To me, loving yourself includes doing everything you can, now. Even if it means that certain risks may not pay off in the end, but you know that they are the things you need to do for yourself now.
That job interview you did not nail. That person you admire who turned down your friendship. That marriage that did not last. That business which failed halfway. To me, it is better to have tried than forever being robbed off the certainty of knowing how things could have turned out.
How will you know if you are meant to do something unless you actually try it. Do not hurt your chances by shying away from opportunities that may get you to your dreams. Yes, the thought of going all out to pursue those dreams can be frightening. Mainly because your mind cannot help but worry, "What if things don't work out?"
One way to help you get a decision quicker is to visualise the day when you are 80, or when you are on your deathbed. Would it be something you would regret not doing? If you answered yes, then it is best to give it a try. Everyone's level of risk is different. And yours will change depending on the phase of life you are in today.
