"hyunjin, dinner's ready," he felt as his mother shook his body. hyunjin woke up and realised he had not changed his uniform yet. "change your clothes first. i heated up the food while you were sleeping because you looked so tired earlier."
his mother walked out, closing the door behind her. hyunjin glanced at the clock wall, 9.30pm.
he knew his mother was more tired than him.
after the dinner he had alone he was going to return to his bedroom but the front door creaked open revealing his father in his slightly wet jacket. the man put a brown file in front of his wife on the coffee table, muttering, "look through it."
what was.. that?
all he knew he did not want it to be a divorce file.

"everyone leaves me," the soft voice muttered while picking the petal flower. energy seemed to have left the body when she was wrapped up in the blanket and sat on the backyard's wooden bench. "first dad, mom, grandma. and now, hyunjin?"
she knew it was not hyunjin's fault. she was the one who insisted him to leave anyway but she couldn't help it, she felt extremely sad.
the memories from two weeks ago flashed in her mind. hyunjin was nowhere to be seen when he had promised the girl to meet up. chaewon returned home with a heavy heart but she did not expect something worse was waiting for her at home.
her grandmother passed away that night.
with the help of her neighbor they managed to bury her but with some difficulties. she was a bit relieved when she had the money she gained from her part time work to afford her grandmother's graveyard.
the next day she felt numb, she could not cry anymore. all of her family members left her. all she needed at that moment was hyunjin, to cry out her feelings. but he was not there either.
for two weeks.
it breaks her heart more when hyunjin told her they could not meet up again after the last meeting. finally after holding in her tears finally fell. she could not remember when was the last time she cried and it hurts her. she hated how she cried because of this matter.
everyone leaves her, so why not she leaves the world too?
that was the thing she was trying to do, but hyunjin was there to stop her without him knowing.
chaewon felt her chest ache. the flower in her fist fell when she coughed non-stop. she ran into her house and took out some pills before swallowing them.
maybe, after a few times this will end.
