"Have you heard?" Taehyung said while playing with the lollipop he bought at the convenience store.
Everyone looked up at the boy, waiting for him to continue.
But Taehyung as he is just continued playing with the lollipop. Also waiting for a reply.
The room got so silent.
Everyone's waiting for a reply.
Moments after, Jin's patience ran down to zero smacking Taehyung with a newspaper.
"Ow!"
"If you have something to say, don't leave us hanging, you idiot!"
"I thought you are not interested so I did not continue!" he said while hissing.
"We were waiting for it!" He replied ready to smack him again.
Taehyung got on to his feet bending down to protect his precious head from his savage Eomma (A/N: Sorry Jin 😚)
"Okay! Okay! You can give me a reply next time so I know you guys are interested, you know! Geez" he said and cleared his throat "Jungkook is having a new classmate!" He said as he squealed excitingly.
Silence.
That's what he gets after he relayed his excitement. He looked at everyone, hoping for a reaction from them.

He saw the others play their card game again, Yoongi sleeping again on the long couch, and Jungkook playing with his overwatch.
He pouts.
"Come on! You smacked me, saying you wanted to hear the news and now you're treating the news I gave you as if it's nothing! what the heck!" he sulked

"I mean..." Namjoon started "What's so exciting about having a new classmate?" he said throwing his uno card.
Hoseok just nods and throws his card after Namjoon, making Jimin groan a little as he needs to pick up 4 cards.
"Don't you get it? It will be a chance for our Jungkookie to have a girlfriend!" Taehyung debated back
Yoongi who is silently listening scoffed at Taehyung "As if our bunny would even effort to make friends with her. For the past 8 years we've been together, he never hangs out with his classmates or schoolmates. Never reached out to girls, not even his crush. What makes her more different?" Everyone looked at him.
"It was the longest word he said for this month," Jimin thought, looking at Yoongi. "Though he makes sense"
"Aniiii~!" Taehyung stomped his feet and walked closer to them and whispered "Isn't it time for us to find him a girlfriend? Just like what you said, he's been stuck with us for 8 years, and yet he hasn't asked out anyone in school!"
"Yeah~!" Jimin thought but was surprised when Taehyung smacked him on his shoulder "Don't talk to yourself, talk to us!" he said as he noticed Jimin is looking up again, a habit Taehyung notice when Jimin is talking to himself.
"We can't just force Jungkook to like someone, you know" Hoseok replied to his idea, still looking at his cards.
"Well, why don't we set up a blind date for him and her?" Taehyund said, "You know it happens to some novels, Girl transfers then guys get to meet the transferee and the gets clicked, and then boom, they would date!"
Jin came into the scene and put the popcorn he prepared for their movie night "Will he go for it? Will SHE go for it?" he exclaimed
Everyone looked at Taehyung with You really propose stupid ideas look which made Taehyung pouts at them.
They were scolding Taehyung for his idea when the boy of their topic, who had his back facing them butted in... "You do know I can hear y'all. I'm literally just in front of you" he said.
Everyone went silent and continued their own agendas, not wanting to push more to it.

At the university the next day, they all cramped in the hallway near Jungkook's room, making sure this time he will have his lunch on time with them but they were surprised with what they have witnessed inside...
'JUNGKOOK AND THE NEW GIRL SMILING TOGETHER?' all of them thought
The six of them had their mouths hanging, not believing what they've seen with their own eyes.
Namjoon was the first one to react and slapped Hoseok on his face so suddenly "What the fuck?!" Hoseok replied with a slap as well. "Ow" he hissed. Hoseok scoffs soothing his own cheeks while exhaling words "serves you right"
Others still in dazzle when Jungkook finally reached to them saying a small see you soon to that girl they want to push him over and looks at them.
"What happen? You guys look stupid" he said and walk off to their hideout leaving the 6 of them in a daze
Taehyung who just had his bubble of daze popped said "Are we seeing the same scene earlier?" he looked at others
Jimin who looked at him says "You mean, him and that girl, right?"
"Yeah"
They looked at each other when Jungkook turned around and shouted "You coming or I'm escaping?"
Eomma instinct kicked in and wakes Jin from his daze followed the bunny, making others follow too...
Taehyung laughed a little making the others look at him while running.
"What?" Yoongi asked.
Taehyung who's smirked at Jungkook's back facing them says "That's easier that we thought..." making others realize the same...
