Chapter 14: Rumors

Jungwon's POV

I walked inside the classroom only to see everyone looking at me and giving me looks. I looked at them confused before going to my seat and sat down. I prepared myself for the upcoming class. and was about to grab my phone until I heard them talking about me. "I heard he's dating the twin of Eungi.. eunha was it? They really do look a like" One of the girls said. "I bet he dated her twin because Eungi dumped him when they were dating." Her friend stated. 

I looked at them. "If you're gonna spread rumors, please say it right" Eungi said as she came and slam the notebook she's holding on their table making the girls flinch. "And first of all, I didn't dump him. We agreed to end things because we were just infatuated. Mind your own business" Eungi said as she pointed the notebook on their faces. 

"Waahhh~" Sunoo stated as he came and placed his hand on my shoulder. "Since when are you like this?" Sunoo asked Eungi. "Like what?" She asked him. "Being a bad binch" He said. "What will I do then? Let them talk over him and ruin his reputation as student council?" Eungi said. "ya ya ya, Let them be" I said. 

"Let them be my ass, Let them talk over you? Like the hell we'll allow that" Sunoo said. "psshh you didn't even do anything" Eungi said making Sunoo glared at her.

"poor Eunha girl, getting used by Jungwon" I heard one of the students say as I walk in the hallway. "I bet he's using her" I heard a guy chuckle. "heck have you seen Eungi's twin though? She's so pretty like Eungi, I can date her if ever he's just using him" That made me walk to them and glared at them. "For the last time, I am not using her! don't act like you know me" I said to them.

"Oh really? She really looks like Eungi, and you two were once dating. Now you're dating her twin? Not using her? What kind of bullshit is that. If you can't have the other, why not her twin? That kind of bu-" He was interrupted with a punch. 

"Jay hyung!" I exclaimed in shock. "look man, if you don't know anything just keep your mother fooking mouth shut ok?!" Jay said as he glared at the guy. "Leave my best friend alone! and also my twin! You guys know nothing about them" Eungi exclaimed.

"are you ok??" I nodded at Eunha who's looking at me worriedly. "are you sure? You look so tired" She said as she cupped my face. "Have you been overworking yourself?" She asked. "No" I stated as I leaned in her touch. I feel at ease and made me forget about what happened. "You look so tired, wanna get some rest at my place?" She asked. "Cuddles?" I mumbled enough for her to hear. "of course, if that's what my big baby wants" She said.

"Big baby?" I said confused at the sudden nickname. "Huh? I said my Jungwon not big baby, are you ok?" She said as she looked away from me blushing. I chuckled at her cuteness. "So I'm your big baby huh?" I smirked. "No" She said making me pout. "I'm not your big baby?~" I asked. She looked at me and her eyes soften. "Argh! Fineee what ever, you're my big baby! There happy?" She stated with a sigh. "No you seem like you said it because you were forced" I pouted. She scoffed. "Ya! Yang Jungwon!" She stated as she smack my shoulder. I stuck my tongue to annoy her more.

"You- Little!-" She stated as she glared at me. "What? little? You're the one who's smaller than me" I said to her smirking. She glared at me even more. I got the sign and ran way from her. "Ya yang jungwon! You may be tall but you didn't have to flex it!" She shouted as she chase me. "Still you're smaller than me!" I shouted back. "You litte-" I hid in one of the alley. She was about to ran past it but I grabbed her hand and pulled her into a hug. "So am I your big baby?" I asked. She sighed in defeat. "You like teasing me, huh? Yes you are my big baby" She said as she leaned closer.

As time pass the students whispering over me keeps going and going until some of them started calling me names. Calling me pathetic and not enough for eunha. Not only that but some of them started putting papers on my locker and told me that I am not worthy to be Eungi's Best friend. Eungi noticed this and asked me if I was ok. I am ok but I can't handle the stares and whispers they keep giving me everytime I walk past them.

"I should tell Eunha about this" Eungi said making me look at her and shake my head. "What do you mean no? She has to know about this!" She said. "I don't want her to worry about me" I said. "She will worry even more if you're not telling her about it" Sunoo said. "I mean she doesn't even know about or noticed anything about it anyways" I said shrugging. "She's not that dense" Eungi said making me look at her confused.

"She noticed the students looking at you weirdly and whispering when she comes in our school." She said as she grabbed her phone. I grabbed her phone knowing she might text her. "Not only that she noticed that you've been spacing out too, which is true. What are you overthinking about?" Eungi asked. "Nothing.." I stated. "Just let it out man" Jay said. "I do agree with Jay, you need to let those thoughts out" Heeseung said.

I sighed in defeat. "I was just thinking if am I really worthy of being your best friend" I said as I looked at Eungi. "not only that but also the fact I went to your twin after we broke u-" "First of all about that break up, it's been months. You liked my twin now. besides we were just infatuated that time not knowing we took it as a different kind of feelings" Eungi interrupted me.

"Still.." I stated. They all sighed at me. "You have to talk it out with Eunha. She deserves to know this" Heeseung said. "I don't know...." Was all what I can only say.
