Tris' P.O.V
I feel so bad for not liking Brent but it's just really hard for me to like someone. I have the image of the boy I should date and he doesn't really fit that image, yes I realize that sounds kinda superficial but it's not. I'm scared of getting hurt, so giving my heart to someone is a big deal and I have to make sure that they're perfect. And well also I'm just not ready to have a boyfriend right now. I called him earlier and told him to meet me at Dunkin' Donuts. I reached it and took a seat in a booth, waiting for Brent.
*Brent walks in*
"Hey Tris, what's up?" He says
"Oh ummm well it's about the uh kiss yesterday". I say nervously
"Oh right " he says awkwardly and scratches his neck
"I'm sorry Brent but I don't like you that way" I say forwardly
"Oh thank gosh" he says relieved
"What??" I say completely confused
"Sorry Tris, I don't like you that way either, I don't know why I kissed you yesterday. Friends?" He explains
"Friends." I say happily and then grab my mocha Frappuchino and tell Brent I'll talk to him later
I head home to go fix Angi's problems and when I get home, I see her and Caspar making out.
Guess she solved them herself lol.
