2. Rivet wasn't affected because:
A. The story needs a protagonist.
B. The main wanted her to suffer.
3. Rivet won't remember Kit due to event mentioned earlier, it erased her memories of anyone outside her own dimension.
4. Kit is in this. And this takes before after Rift apart.
