The animal proved hard to tame.
The beast as Rivet called it let its rage upon the world. Claws raked on victims, scratching against windows. Anyone a victim the moment they walked in it's cage.
The goal was humanise the thing. Make it have thoughts and a conscious enough to think rationally and obey those who tricked it into thinking they'd saved Rivet.
"Go away!" The thing hissed, voice as deep as a demon's. "I won't hesitate to tear you to SHREDS!"
All the scientists backed away. Most were bots, though some were living organism incase the creature took out the tech. Replacements you could call them.
Writing notes, pens clicking up and down as the creature's in bored taunted the creature. Irritating the hell out of it, glass breaking as it shattered by it breaking out and pinning the poor doctor down.
"I told you to go AWAY!" It hissed in his face, claws growing out its hands. "And you didn't heed OUR warning."
The beast referred itself in the first often, scientists never understanding as to why it did since it seemed to be the only one had control of the body.
It swiped its claws down, ripping the doctor's skin clean from his face. Half on and half off. The creature crawled backwards, a hissing beast following it the entire time.
The creature flipped the scientists off by the middle finger. It willingly walked over by to cage flicking its tail almost mockingly the whole way.
"Oh, and tell the little emperor we want freedom. Little Rivet's getting agitated."
It's speech went normal as to manipulate the creatures into thinking it was docile. It wouldn't attack the first one who assumed them to be dumb.
How wrong they'd be.
***
The beast whistles innocently for once.
A place it goes to when sedated is a place it got to see its counterpart in person. Finally meeting face to face after only speaking in arguments.
The beast whines when Rivet doesn't show. The beast anticipates these visits as it envisions itself as the protector of the mind and body. It has saved Rivet more than once.
She owed it this time.
"Normal?"
As Rivet it the name The Beast, it also has grown a name to give. It always hears of the words 'beast' and 'animal'. It's sad because it knows it's true.
"Normal!"
It whines like a child. Huffing, plopping down on the floor. Before the evil got its hands on the beast, it might've turned out to be innocent-
Splash!
Gasping echoed in the void. The beast immediately jumped up, squealing when the shadows dragged a barely conscious over to the monster.
It sat down again to make eye contact.
"What?.." Rivet coughed, spitting out water as if it was acid. "The hell do you want?"
"A visit."
"A visit?"
"A visit!"
Rivet stared like the monster had gone insane. If possible, more insane than usual. What the heck happened one the last few days?
"I sleep whilst you take control."
"Yeah!" It groaned, throwing up its arms. "The mean creatures keep experimenting on me. You make me out to a mean monster."
Whilst around it's true form, the real personality shone through and the monster acted as a child that might be the age in their under ten years.
Rivet kept some use. It made the monster suffer. The guilt only died when the pleasure of seeing it scream and beg. If only I'm a dream format.
"What happened?"
"I killed again." It rubbed its chin with a wistful sigh, an unusual gesture. "Doctors wind me up all the time, got rid of the problem."
The darkness covered Rivet's features. A paling face is much easier to make as it its brighter than the true colours habitant the limb.
"Your a monster."
It chuckled bitterly.
"I know." It hopped Rivet's nose. "Thanks for the talk. Put her back under."
The shadows grabbed Rivet's limbs. Plunging the Lombax into the water. Dragging the Lombax deeper into the crevices of her mind.
The darkness drilled its grip into Rivet's mouth, eyes and chest. Vision consumed by the shadows commanded by the entity above.
Rivet passed out due to pure exhaustion. Eyes rolling into the back of her head and lids closing as the darkness forced the Lombax to obey.
Rivet glanced at the beast and handed control back to it. It stole any chances of her being the dominant conscious and did something strange.
The beast also let itself go and created another entity. One which existed to be a vessel. The body now inhabited by three.
Rivet, the beast, and one more. It simply was called the body. And it held no memories. The beast now trapped in the mind whispered lies.
The game was on.

The body observed its new masters.
When it came into existence, it screeched and attacked all the scientists, holding down by them all and thrashing wildly in their grip.
Calm, calm.
A soothing voice cooed. The body didn't know speech so it said nothing. Only freezing in place as the scientists reluctantly let go.
Holding humanity and traits of the beast, a desire to attack and obey kicked in. It looked around and tilted its head with a whine.
What is this? Who are we?
A rush filled its veins. As if another's emotions coursed and it passed it on to somehow calm its quickly beating heart.
WE are Rivet. You refer as that name.
Rivet looked its new surroundings, touring to a place where a robot stood tall on his throne. Other kneeled done in constantly phrasing.
"All hail the emperor."
Rivet suddenly got an obeying urge. The emperor himself approached and led her over to the throne where held her shoulder comfortingly.
Emperor Nefarious grinned as the body stared at its new home. The planning and the little bit known as Kit helped this situation. She was sent to another planet under the guise as an apprentice.
"Your mine. Mine to command. My weapon."
You're his and mine. My body. My soul.
The body simply nodded. Naive to the world and still learning. The capability of a child it's mental capacity and stayed with the one who could help it understands its place and purpose.
Taking manipulation and cunning was tiring but now with his nemesis in place and naive to all plots and his for the taking, he thinks it's great.
In the end, every second was worth the victory.
