All she could hear was screaming. It was such a pained and sad sound. "Who could be making such a depressing sound," she thought as she looked around. The only other person in the room beside her was the executioner who wore a mask and was currently trying out how sharp his blade was on her toes. Oh. That was the sound of her voice. She had been screaming so much that she had forgotten for a moment.
How had things ended up this way? Her life up till this point had been perfect. She had tried her best to be the heroine of this story. Oh right. Even though she made up excuses for every wrong thing she did, it was bound to end up this way. After all, she had acted like a villainess with a god complex.
Silence. The screaming that brought her to her senses had stopped. What happened? Then the room started to spin around her. Ah. This painful yet liberating feeling. Was this how it felt to be killed? She felt like the shackles that had chained her to this world were now broken and the burdens she once had had been taken off her shoulders. "So this is how it feels to be a head without its body. What a wonderful feeling. Who knew that having my head cut off will bring me such peace?" she thought as she drifted into a deep an eternal slumber.
