It was now a lot later, I was lying awake in Jaden's arms with Juice beside me.
A few seconds later I hear crying over the baby monitor.
J: I'll get it-
He tiredly said as he slowly tried to get up.
B: No No it's okay Jae, I've got him
I get out of Jaden's grip and stand up.
J: Are you sure?
B: yeah of course, you have work in a few hours go back to sleep.
I walk out of the door and go into Ethan's room with Juice following behind me.
B: what's wrong baby?
I ask knowing he won't respond.
I pick him out of his crib and hold onto him.
I make sure he doesn't need to be changed before taking him downstairs and into the kitchen.
I place him down in his high chair and take a bottle of milk out of the fridge, I heat it up and check it's not too hot for him then I take it over to Ethan and help him drink it.
Once he's done I wipe up the mess he's made and give him a pacifier and take him back upstairs to his room. I place him on in the crib and tuck him in.
B: Night Night baby,
I caress his cheek while waiting for him to fall asleep.
Once I'm done I turn the light off and walk back into our bedroom.
J: Hey baby, Is he okay?
He asks tiredly
B: Yeah he's fine baby
I get back into bed and cuddle him. I finally fall asleep a few minutes later.
