chapter 1 - first day of school

Chapter 1 
Lua skyler 
I woke up with a splitting headache . It has been happening often . Which sucks, especially since I'm starting a new school today . I got up to get dressed and to brush my teeth. I look at myself in the mirror and I look horrible. I have bags under my eyes ,my hair has gotten frizzy and damaged . And then my glass all scratched up . Lucky pa is going to get me some new lens . I looked back at the bags under my eyes  and my dark dark brown hair to the point it looked black . I tamed it down and tried to put it into a ponytail. But since my hair was too short to have all or most of my hair in it. I just decided to put it up with a clip . I gotta say I looked really . . .ehh. I went downstairs to see the lights were off and that there was a note on the table. I turned the light on and made my way to the note. It was pa ,he  said that he was going on a trip to visit ma's grave . He knew I wouldn't go since I would get emotional meaning wanting  to make my mom proud by getting good grades. She didn't die while giving birth to me but due to giving birth to me she died only a week after I was born .. 
    I never got to see her but she held me even when she was dying. I was still a nervous wreck since I was going to a different school today. I was transferred to a new school since I had gotten into two fights. To be fair I didn't throw the first punch ,she did or well more like a slap since it was a weak punch. There was a rumor going around that I was trying to steal her man . But we were  just lab partners and we had a project to do .We fought well more like me throwing punches and her grabbing my hair . Well what she could grab  which wasn't a lot. I got suspended then her and her friends tried to jump me which i beat the hell out of all of them . That made me get expelled since they told on  me saying I jumped them and since we were out of school and there was no camera . the school took their side. My dad was furious and threatened to sue the school . But I calmed him down and told him that the school was shit so might as well go to a different school. I was going to a school that was pretty far from my house so I had to take a bus to get there . But once pa got back he said he was gonna start searching for a house near his work which was also close to the school. I was wearing some regular jeans and a nice blouse that was white. But that was covered by a sweater. I got off the bus and walked my way up to the school .There were a few people behind me and some people about maybe a yard in front of me . On my right there was a road and a few trees but it wasn't the forest . 
    On my left it was grass for about a few feet and then it was the forest. I could have sworn I saw something move . I quickly put my hand in my pocket to grab my pepper spray. Flipped the switch to the side providing me with an easy way to spray someone if needed to . I looked back to see a huge wolf running . I wasn't that scared since there were a few people near me and I also looked back and they obviously saw it since they pointed. They seemed to not care like it was a normal thing so I thought nothing about thinking the wolves minded their business and we minded our business. Knowing that the town had a rule that if someone killed or attempted to kill one  they would be punished. I made it to the school with 13 minutes to spare. Which was good since this school was huge . This was a private school but I don't think they had uniforms since everybody had their own clothes on. I immediately smelled the smell of grass after it rained with a hint of wood. Both of the smells that I loved . It was all around the school; some hallways were stronger than others while some hallways just didn't have the smell. I went to the  office to get my schedule from them. They gave me it and also a uniform.  Turns out Wednesday is free day which meant you were allowed to wear whatever you wanted to wear without being dressed code.  But they still had rules cause they obviously didn't want someone walking the halls in a bikini. You couldn't see more than half of your boob. Could wear anything that showed below the hip lines . And nothing more than 3 inches below your vajayjay. They were very welcoming with dressabelle expressions. Needless to say, I was leaving the office when I bumped into someone.  
"Oh sorry "
 I looked up since the person was a few inches taller than me .Maybe about four by the way. I'm 5 '4 . That when it hit me his scent was the same as the ones I smelled in the hallways . The dude's  face  held visible confusion and maybe anger . I was about to say something when I just blurted out .
" why do you smell like that " 
He hateful and confused face quickly turned to dumb found and confusion. 
" what do i smell like " 
" like wet grass when it just rained and wood" 
" oh ok " 
" ummm are you new here " 
" uhh yeah i am " 
" oh really when did you move here "
" oh i didn't move here i transferred to this school "
" really why did you get transferred here" 
I didn't feel like telling someone I got expelled since i would have to explain the whole story and also its none of his business.  
" My school suked . Wasn't really pushing me " 
"Ahh i see "
" well it was nice meeting youuu "
" lua my names lua " 
" see ya lua " 
He walked out of the office totally forgetting the reason he came in the office . I  made my way toward my class. I had 2 minutes to spare. The day went by swiftly except eating lunch by myself But other than that it was great.
