"It's not too late to turn back now, Sir Zhongli."

"Why would I? We're just getting started.."

Childe glanced towards him, a smile plastered across his face,

"Alright then," he leaned with his arms supporting his body,

"I'm pretty sure you can be the *cough* second *cough* best when it comes to ice fishing (I'm the best overall of course)."

Tartaglia sat on the cold hard ground of Dragonspine. The Snezhnayan boy spent most of his time here that his buttocks might be immune to the cold already,

"It's a test of patience, and no one's better at that than you."

He turned to see the person beside him, Zhongli, sitting at a stone comfortable enough for his slender figure.

The weather in Dragonspine is undeniably cold to the bones, but with the fire near them, they can hold on much longer.

As many has known about the youngest Harbinger, Childe has always pursue to improve and gain more power. However, instead of beating anyone, he often go fishing in a frozen lake as to practice his patience and meditate.

A pretty sincere method to get stronger, I would say.

Childe often gone fishing with his father in the past, and he didn't expect the next person to replace him is Zhongli, though he was not surprised.

Zhongli watched over the lake in a calm manner, but his gaze could almost reached the waterbed as he bore into the icy cold water, and his ears perked up whenever a faint splash could be heard from somewhere at the surface.

"You don't have to be so cautious, it's not like you're going to catch them with your hands." Childe held his laugh as to not scare away the fish, but Zhongli really did amuse him just now.

Zhongli nodded as he closed his eyes, arms folded across his chest,
"Hm.."

He always brings elegance with him wherever he goes, and the dreary scenery of Dragonspine didn't suit him at all.

A few seconds went by and a fish got caught in the fishing line,

"Ah, that was fast.." Childe mused as he fought with the rod in order to pull the fish to the surface.

After a few push and pull, the fish flew in the air and onto the ground in front of them. It was a big one, and Childe was pretty proud of himself.

"Hehe, how did I do?" he gestured to the fish.

"That's a nice catch.." Zhongli stated, nodding in approval, despite knowing that his friend is already an expert at such sport.

Taking the fish into the pail, Childe teased at how nice Zhongli was, playing along and praising him. Zhongli watched as the latter put another bait onto the hook and threw it into the lake.

"How about you try next, Zhongli? This chance is hard to come by, so show me all you've got." he said, the smile never leave his face.

Zhongli, who is unbothered with his mischief, nodded and agreed. Therefore, the next fish that come is his to handle.

"Careful, you shouldn't pull too fast, but you shouldn't let it get away either." Childe taught him as Zhongli tried his best to understand the mechanism of the fishing rod.

The fishing line slacked and then tightened as the fish struggled to free itself. Zhongli too, seems to get anxious with what happened, and Childe could only tell him to stay calm and hold him in place.
