The sky was calm that day, clouds lazily drifting across the blue expanse in a pattern that was all too pretty and aesthetic. Sun was hidden somewhere, its rays filtered and soft as it fell inside the open window whose curtain swished in the cool breeze.
That's how Taehyung found him, serene and quiet, blanketed by gentle light and a thin cotton sheet. His long lashes lay unmoving on the apples of his cheeks, shaped nose ending on a pair of lips that Taehyung hadn't tasted in two years.
Seokjin looked beautiful as ever, if only you could ignore that he was deathly pale.
"He was admitted two nights", the voice did not spook Taehyung, did nothing to take his attention away from the man who lay on the other side of the glass window, "doctors were able to stop the internal bleeding and treats the wounds on his body but..."
