Ava

Yesterday was the last day of the no sex deal. I was proud to say I had neither run away, nor had I thought of running away. Elias wanted proof I was serious, and I'd just given him that. That man was a sex god but I did like him without the sex as well.

I was grabbing my stuff to leave for the day when Robert came inside my office. Great. "Yes?" I raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?"

"I-I didn't know about Fred." He began. "I'd never thought-"

"No one had. Sometimes people surprise you." I shrugged.

"You're not here only for business, are you?" He asked. "You are also here to find out the moles."

I wanted to smile but I didn't. Robert was an ass to me on my first day, but I'd always known he was clever. "What makes you say that?"

"Because you don't seem fazed even though everyone does their best to undermine you. I did as well." He added. "It made me wonder. Anyone would have broken by now. If the board sent you here they had a reason for it."

"Are you trying to imply something?"

"Just that I apologise for giving you some hard days. I don't promise there won't be any clashes between us because we both are persons of different ideologies, but we'll have clashes with respect, I can promise you that." He said.

I raised both of my brows. "Why the sudden change of attitude?"

"Two reasons. I care about this company, and I realised you do too. I was apprehensive because I thought you being here would cause damage, but I realised your job was to prevent further damage. Second, I like your strength. Suits a boss."

I smiled, "Have a good day, Robert."

I drove home as fast as I could, took a quick shower, changing into a pair of shorts and crop top, applying a light coat of makeup, and grabbing a jacket. Then I drove to the ring. I had not been to the ring since the first time I'd seen Elias fighting. Everything was the same, the crowd, the shouts, the madness. The bulky guy from last time who I'd punched and kicked in the balls was nowhere to be seen.

"Ava Thompson?" I heard someone say my name behind me and I turned around in surprise. He was one of the guys who stood outside the rest rooms, big and muscular, tattooed. "Follow me, please."

He led me to the changing rooms, motioning to the other guys to let me through. "Room 102."

I walked inside, observing my surroundings. When I knocked on the door, there was a low 'come in' from inside, so I turned the knob and closed the door behind me. Elias was shirtless, a concentrated look on his face as he punched, practising on a punching bag.

Fuck me

My mouth parted and I blinked, not understanding how anyone could look so beautiful and lethal at the same time. He looked like someone I shouldn't look at, but who I couldn't stop looking at for even a second. He didn't look at me, he was too focused. There were no gloves on his hand, just a hand wrap. I was so sexually deprived I couldn't even control my vagina. She was desperate, and I knew if not controlled she'd make me do something very embarrassing.

"Hola, amor." Elias said, still not taking his eyes off the bag.

"Am I disturbing you?"

"Yes, you are." He striked a final punch which made the bag swing in the opposite direction, then held it in his hands to prevent it from swinging any further. "But disturbance is good before a match." Then he tilted his head to look at me, slowly running his tongue over his bottom lip as his eyes took me in, darkening slightly. "And a disturbance like you gets me angry. Good for the match."
