Harry watched as three boys entered his and Ron's train compartment. Immediately, he recognized the blonde boy in the middle. They had met at Madam Malkim's robe shop and had a very pleasant conversation. Unfortunately they didn't get each other's names before Hagrid roughly pulled Harry away. Now though, the blonde was looking at Harry with renewed interest and recognition.

"Is it true?" He said, "All of the student body on the train is saying that Harry Potter is going to Hogwarts this year. So it's you isn't it?"

A look of surprise flashed through Harry's eyes as Ron blocked the blonde from his view.

"We don't want to talk with the likes of you Malfoy. Go bugger off."

A frown now marred both Harry and Draco's face as they made eye contact from over Ron's right shoulder. Draco was the first to look back at the young Weasley.

"Red hair and a hand me down robe? You must be a Weasley. No wonder you have ghastly manners. This conversation isn't about you Weasley. So please try not to make it that way."

Harry smiled as he tried not to laugh. His smile grew when Malfoy's attention was back on him.

"My name is Malfoy, Draco Malfoy to be exact Potter. Though you can call me Draco. Along with that being said. You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are much better than others. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. Although I assume you have already decided who you want to be friends with?"

Draco held out his hand for Harry to shake, but Ron pushed the Malfoy heir away.

"Get your bloody paws away from my soon to be best friend Malfoy. He won't want to associate with a Slytherin like you."

A quick wave of angered magic went through the train compartment.

"Ron you are being very rude to Draco. There is nothing wrong with being friends with him. From what I can tell, he seems to be better company then you at the moment."

Red appeared on Ron's face as Harry reprimanded him. The embarrassment was very obvious on the Weasley boy's face.

"I'd be careful if I was you Potter," Ron stated through his anger. "If you aren't nicer to me then you aren't going to have any friends at Hogwarts. I'll make sure that you're put into the same category as those slimey snakes. It won't matter what house you're put in. I'm the only chance you've got at a perfectly normal life," he ended his statement with a snarl.

"Say that again," Harry said softly.

"Oh are you going to tell me off now that I've blown my top on you? Go ahead and try Potter. No one will be on your side by the end of it."

"Get out now Weasel. I no longer wish to be friends with you."

A sneer appeared upon Ron's face. "I don't very much feel like leaving. And you can't make me leave. You're too weak and powerless. The only thing that makes you so great is the fact that you killed an evil man at one year old. I bet if you tried again, nothing would happen."

Harry's anger and magic slowly began to rise as Ron continued. Draco stood forgotten by the two and no one ever even acknowledged the other two boys behind him.

"And I'm glad you don't have loving parents. You have nothing actually. You'll never turn into the hero again. You'd be-"

Ron's words were cut short as Draco had gotten his pride back together enough to smack the Weasley boy into silence. It was only after that, that Harry was able to get a word in.

"Ronald Weasley of the Weasley lineage. I, Hadrian James Potter-Black, hereby declare you and anyone who is on your side, an enemy of the Ancient and Noble house of Black and the Ancient and Noble house of Potter. So mote it be."

A silent gasp left Draco's lips as magic swirled around the compartment for only a few moments, before it came down on Ron and Harry. The former being pushed harshly out of the train compartment.

"Well then, that was a sight to see. Are you alright though Harry or should I call you Hadrian now?" A look of concern flashed through Draco's eyes.

"I am fine Draco and you can call me Hadrian." An endearing smile appeared on the boy now known as Hadrian Potter-Black.

"You will have to tell me when you got a second last name and how your first name was never revealed." Draco rambled on as the train came to a stop. It had arrived at Hogsmeade.
