No name change, but the old you is a stranger

Of the life of long ago

Clinging to the fragments, but it's time to let go

Perhaps it remains boxed in your attic

To the present it is an antibiotic

A word that leaves a smile on your lip

Like grains of sand you watched it fall between your fingers, let it slip
