//NINE YEARS LATER - IN FUUGA// ~ Yumi's POV:

I stood at the gate of Fuuga where Hak stood, with his large glaive in hand and was ready for a new change in his lazy life. Well, in my case he is always lazy. Just recently he finally was announced as Princess Yona's personal bodyguard, which was exciting news. He complained a little about it, but I knew deep down he actually was happy to see her.

Since we were kids I always watched from afar, seen I never felt included with the group. Soo-Won seemed happy around them, but sometimes I felt he didn't appreciate my presence around him. So I backed off and watched over them, which I didn't mind but it did feel lonely.

"Do you really have to go, big brother?" Little Tae-Yeon questions cutely, as I held my little brother up on my hip. His arms wrap around me, showing his most cutest sad face in front of Hak. He was an orphan a year ago, and Mundok took him under his wing and since I kinda was like a mother/ Sister figure.

Hak smiled gently patting his head, "Yeah, I have to protect the Princess," He replied gently, as he saddened. "But.....I will come see you sometime.......don't know when but I will, besides I'm the General now. So I've got a lot of responsibilities now."

"Responsibwities?" Tae-Yeon questioned, as I chuckled gently hugging my little brother.

"Yep he has," I coo gently. "So he needs to represent our home, so we live peacefully.'

I heard someone walking up from behind feeling a hand rest upon my head making me smile, "Well good luck my son," He smiled.

"Son? Since when was I your son now, old geezer," Hak remarked, when I shot my hand, chopping his head sharply causing him to wince from my scolding.

"Respect Grandpa Mundok, be grateful he made you general," I hissed lightly at him, before a smirk curled upon my lips. "But I think you will be great, stay safe okay?"

"Sure, but hey Grandpa....?" Hak called, as Mundok grumpily turned to him.

"What?"

Hak scratched the back of his neck, "So when will Yumi be promoted to second in command?" He asked, as Mundok sighed.

He shifted his gaze upon me then back to Hak, "It will take some convincing, but Yumi has strength that matches yours. Yet it's mainly the fire nation that scolds such dignity of us, having a female be second command. Remember when--"

"Yeah, yeah I know.......General Ju-Do.....I know, but I don't think they would make a good match," Hak breathed out, before he walked up to me. He placed a hand on my head, "Take care of Tae-Yeon while I'm gone, okay?"

Softly I smile while closing my eyes I tilt my head slightly, "I will, you big idiot," I replied. "You never know......I might be your second in command in a few months."

"You never know," he repeated, waving his hand he set off to Hiryuu Palace. Standing there I watch him disappear from my sight, while Tae-Yeon yawned tightly with dry tears from crying about Hak's departure.

"Come on little Tae.......let's get you to bed," I smiled gently, as he rubbed his tired eyes. Turning on her heels she went to their home, to put little Tae-Yeon to bed as he was only three years old.

Once I knew he fell asleep after me singing to him, I tucked him in bed before quietly stepping out of the room. The day was still bright, and I needed go shopping in Kuuto for some more medicinal herbs and some supplies for my weaponry. Reason being because some supplies we needed weren't from the merchants we get each week, and Tae-Yeon was sick which we found out since we adopted him into the family.
