KINGDOM OF KOUKA - NEAR THE BORDER - Third pov:
The candles burnt brightly in the centre of the table, between two very important men. However the turn of events wasn't as expect, as the general of the fire tribe was sitting opposite of the enemy.
"Thank you for taking the time to travel all the way to Kouka...." Soo-Jin greets his guest. ".....Lord Ri-Hazara."
The warlord from the Sen Province, was from in fact the Kai Empire.
Lord himself was rather roughed up looking, as his sideburns reach down to a scruffy beard and beneath his lip. His face was rather defined but broad, and eyebrows sharp and thick. His eyes however were more cunning like, as they narrow to the point, where he seems to be a man with no mercy to give.
"No, no......this was a good opportunity, Lord Kang Soo-Jin," He assures, the general of the fireland. "I wanted to see the state of the land of Fire for myself...."
Soo-Jin smirks, "Well I'm afraid this area is quite barren,"
The warlord scoffs, "I'm used to a harsh climate," he assures the lord. "What matters is how you use it."
Ri-Hazara sips his tea rather in a good manner, but his intentions were far more ruthless.
"I see, well said," The fire general compliments him.
The Warlord soon hums in delight of the tea, and it's sweet aroma. It was so delicate, but also quite light for his stomach. He gestures to the small cup, "This tea's fragrance is quite pleasant," He observes, as if he enjoys his tea than he looks. "Is it produced here in the fire lands?"
Soo-Jin glances back to one of his soldiers, who seems quite surprised and excited.
"Oh--That's Yuno tea, made in Chishin," he explains happily, as if the woman herself was beautiful. "I chose it because I'd heard floral teas are preferred in the Kai Empire."
The warlord's eyes linger upon the tea, with his interest peaked by the sweet blend of aroma's, "Well, it's a lovely blend," gesturing his cup delicately in the air, with his compliment taken with pride.
"I'm glad it pleases you," The soldier smiles, with admiration.
"Yuno tea from chisin....? Is this tea Geun-Tae was selling?" Ri-Hazara questions, referring to the General of the Earth's tribe's wife who brewed her deliciously fragranced teas.
"Yes sir, general Geun-Tae's wife created the blend, it's very popular in south Kai and is difficult to obtain,"
Suddenly Soo-Jin threw his cup instantly, without hesitant with distaste of the Earth tribe.
"Revolting!!!!! He grimaces, causing a few soldiers to jump by his sudden inconsiderate behaviour.
Ri-Hazara sat there unfazed by the fact he caused a childish tantrum, "What's wrong?"
A shadow casts over Soo-Jin's eyes, "There was a bug in my cup," he seethes through his teeth, while the warlord simply drank his tea.
Soo-Jin clears his throat, adjusting himself.
"Not to worry, even if the other tribes are slightly more prosperous......they're no match for you right now......" Hazara assures the fire chief, enjoy his tea pleasantly while the chief was tensed up. Ri-Hazara soon shifts his cunning eyes up to the general, ".....Religion bores me....so I don't care much about that........by the way I was hoping to meet your son today."
"I've told everyone in the palace....that I'm attending a business meeting......" The general replies, bitterly. ".....Kyo-Ga doesn't know I'm here."
"A business meeting?" The warlord arches an eyebrow, with an amused smirk dawning on his face.
