(Third person pov)
Those girls grew into beautiful women after a couple of years but instead of enjoying their prime years, the girls have been working their butts off to save enough money to buy the restaurant them and their daddy dreamt about.
"Order up" the chef yelled from behind the counter, slamming a pile of pancakes on a plate on it.
(Reader) rushed over to the order and picked it up along with the other orders she had in her hands.
"Careful (Reader), don't want another incident of you and the orders on the floor" The Chef informed (Reader) while pointing his spatula at her with a glare.
(Reader) tensed up slightly, remembering that time made her cringe "Yes Chef, won't happen again, I will be very careful" (Reader) softly said to the man as she shuffled away with her head down. The chef simply huffed and went back to work.
"Another coffee here, Chère" (Reader) heard from the other side of the room. She looked up thinking the man was talking to her to see her sister Tiana serving the man with her award winning smile and small waist.
(Reader) was often jealous of how easy going Tiana was around people compared to her who got scared when someone breaths too loudly. Tiana was graceful while she was clumsy. Tiana was beautiful with her clear almond skin and her clear eyes that could bring any man to his knees.
While (Reader) was to shy to even talk to a guy she found attractive which isn't often as she gave up pursuing men after being heartbroken too many times as they ended up liking her sister more.
But she would never hate Tiana as it was never her fault, just (Reader's) as she couldn't keep their attention but luckily Tiana never liked the men back as she always puts her sister first.
(Reader) had just delivered all her orders when she heard voices call out Tiana's and her name. Both Tiana and her walked over to the group who they (mostly Tiana) called friends.
"Morning, Georgia, hey guys" Tiana warmly welcomed them with a smile while (Reader) simply waved back with a small grin.
"We all going out dancing tonight. Care to join us?" The group asked the girls while sprouting encouragements.
"You know I got two left feet." Tiana had placed some food on a table with a toddler literally bathing herself with the cake But (Reader) came over and happily gave the mother a dozen napkins which the mother was grateful for. (Reader) saw the child looking at her so she blew a raspberry causing the child laugh.
"Besides I'm going to work a double shift tonight, you know so.." Tiana was explaining when the group rudely interrupted her by finishing her sentenced of buying the restaurant. Some even rolling their eyes.
"Well what about you (Reader)?" the group then turned their attention to the (h/c) female. (Reader) had froze while pouring a man some coffee when she was put into the spotlight but quickly recovered so to not mess up.
"O-oh no s-sorry, doing the same shift" (Reader) awkwardly laughed scratching her head as she saw their faces sour more.
"Following your big sister even to this day" One of the friends said with a sigh like she expected (Reader) to grow out of it, ignoring the fact that Tiana and her are really close and (reader) really looked up to her sister.
"Just like when we were kids" Another laughed as they remembered small (Reader) running after her sister when she was little.
(Reader) went red with embarrassment and quickly turned away and went to another table to serve them in order to hid it.
