The evening the rays of the sun were long and straight. They painted the clouds yellow, orange and pink. The cold yet light breeze made the sunset more enjoyable.
When the birds flew to their nests, the busy people buzzing streets were only a few. There she was walking in the sideways, kicking the little rock as her entertainment. But her heart and lips sang a song as her passion. Stella David. She was returning home from her music class. For outsiders it was just a class which taught music. But for her, it her time to love the beauty of music. It was her time to love herself.
It was her time to be free. It was her time to be herself. But everything you love is not easy to get. Everything you want is not given to you. You have to fight for it. She did. She struggled a lot with her mother to get the permission for attending the music class. She was proud of herself for what she did.
Her home came into her view. She smiled at the thought of eating some snacks made by the hands of her mother. Who wouldn't be? She was hungry. She unlocked the door and entered the house.
Stella: Mom, I'm home.
Her mom came from the kitchen with a smile, which always made her day better.
Mrs.David: How was your day, darling?
Stella: It was awesome mom. I had a lot of fun today. Before you can ask anything, please give me some food. I am starving. Please feed my stomach. Ple-
Mrs.David: I understand. Come on.
The sky was enveloped with darkness. The half moon was shining brightly along with some twinkling stars. Stella stared at the stars while her mouth counted the numbers. Once again she lost the count. She sighed and decided just to enjoy the night time. A melodious rhythm was heard in the background. The song was played by her mobile phone. A cold breeze flew through her room. She closed her eyes. Ah, it was so relaxing after a long tiring day.
Soon enough she got a call from a contact saved Dummy.
Stella: Hey.
Dummy: Hey annoying amigo, did you complete the math project?
Stella: Uh, no. I still have some changes.
Dummy: You should complete it by tomorrow Stella.
She heard the fake stern voice. She smiled a little.
Dummy: I will complete it by tomorrow Rihan.
She said with the same tone.
And yes, that 'Dummy' was none other than her best friend Rihan Dev.Rihan: You know I am being generous just by reminding you. And here you are mocking me!
He exclaimed.
Stella: You know what, you are annoying. I am about to have a nice sleep but it got ruined by your concern for that so called project.
Rihan: No wonder you don't like to study. And I am offended. Maybe. Maybe not.
Stella: And I don't care. Maybe. Maybe not.
She sighed feeling frustrated.
Stella: Don't worry. I'll complete it by tomorrow. Now I wanna sleep. So , bye. Good night.
Rihan: Okie dokie. Good night.
She hung up the call. Soon she fell into a deep slumber.
