I look between the documents in my hand and my dad.
We are currently in my soon to be office going through some files for the meeting we are having in the next thirty minutes.
Ever since what happend between me and Mason we have been keeping it preety natural and plus he is rarely home anyway so i guess his avoiding me.
"Tiff,are you listening?"my dad asks while taking a sit infront of me
"Ya,ofcource anyway we can't partner up with this company because look at all its loan background and how are we sure that it's not going to rob our money plus. .....dad are you listening?"
I turn and look at him and his eyes were tearing
"Dad are you crying?"
"Am just proud of you pumpkin"
"Thanks dad"
"Am so grateful that am giving you my company"
I pull him in for a hug and give him a tight squeeze
"Come on dad we don't want to be late"

The meeting didn't go so well,the manager was practically a gold digger and turns out his company was a scam.

I didn't bother looking at the caller ID I just picked up
"Oh Hi Tiffany"

"Hi Emily" I try my best not to be sarcastic
Me and Emily were friends since college well I didn't take her as my friend because she was only around me because of my ex boyfriend Ethan anyways I never actually liked her because Diane introduced her to me and they are the best of the besties and when she noticed me and Ethan weren't going to split she decided to marry a 50yr old man who has over 3 other wives and after all this time she is still a bitch.
"Is it true your getting married to Mason Woods?"
"Yeah,why?"
"You will find out"
And with that she cut the call,what did she mean by that?!
"Are you okay?" I hear Khloe ask
"How did you get in?"
"Your dad let me in,anyways Lunch?"
"Mmm"
We drive to our usual restaurant,we regularly come to here because it's in the centre of our companies since Khloe is the oldest and has 2 younger brothers that makes her the heir while Sandra's company well its more of a family business they all decided to share it with her older brother and younger sister.
"I think I spot Sandra"
We walk over to were she's sited and catch up,the waiter takes our orders and leaves
"Guys you won't believe who called!"
I say while receiving my plate of delicious food.
"Who"
"Was it that back stabbing bitch Gabbie"
"No it was Emily"
"Ewww" me and Khloe look at Sandra and burst out laughing while people look at us weirdly
Honestly am not surprised she said that, Sandra hated Emily because she she tried stealing her fiance I know right
"Why did she call?"Khloe asked while stealing my fries
"She was confirming if am getting married to Mason"
"Why?"the both asked at the same time
"Apparently am ganna find out soon,and to be honest it she sounded suspicious"
