Arthur
He told you after you had woken up. He was so worried about you and so scared when he saw you fall off the horse covered in blood and cuts. Uther and Morgana were worried too, even Merlin, you were always nice to him whenever you'd visit and would reprimand Arthur if you thought he was being too hard on him. Gaius patched you up and told them not to worry as you don't have any serious wounds and that your body has been under a lot of stress and trauma which is why you fell unconscious.
Arthur didn't care why you were unconscious, he just prayed every day that you would wake up, he never left your side.
When you had finally woken up Arthur nearly cried from relief. He hugged you so tightly that you could barely breathe. "Oh thank God, I was so worried."
"Hey come on, I am fine. There is no reason to worry." You said what you thought would be reassuring.
But apparently not.
"'No reason to worry'? 'No reason'?!" He pulled away and looked at you angrily. "'NO REASON'?! Are you kidding me?! Do you have any idea how worried I have been?! Do you have any idea how it feels to see someone you care so much about ride up in the middle of the night covered in blood?! Do you have any idea how it feels to see the one you love more than anything in this world, lying unconscious and not knowing when they will wake up?!"
You stared at him in shock at the last part and it seemed he hadn't realised yet what he had said. Arthur took a few deep breaths calming down.
Once he relaxed his eyes widened, now realising what he had said. "Is that true?"
Arthur was silent for a minute, realising that his original plan to confess a few days after you woke up, whenever you did, was just ruined. He took yet another deep breath and looked at you with a serious face. "Yes."
You smiled at him widely and hugged him again. "I love you too." You whispered into his ear. He slightly pulled away and looked into your eyes.
He opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by the door slamming open, revealing an extremely worried Morgana. "I heard screaming, is everything ok? OH MY GOD (Y/N) YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE!"
You smiled at her whereas Arthur slightly glared.

Merlin
You actually told him without intending to. It was when he was poisoned. You were so terrified that he would die that when he finally woke up you couldn't hold back the tears. "(Y/n)?" He said with a rough voice from just waking up "Why are you crying?"
You repeatedly whack him on his arm, more tears spilling out of your eyes. "YOU'RE AN IDIOT YOU KNOW THAT? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU PUT US THROUGH? I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD YOU GIT!" Eventually you stopped hitting him and let him rub his arm. Gaius and Gwen chuckling behind you.
