Three Months: A Camren A.U.

Chapter 7

The holidays where over, except they're still missing one, they figured they'd wait until the end of the month. Camila was awake at three am next to Lauren. She was playing with her ring, Lauren sure has out done herself with the ring. Camila lied there feeling her throat drying up, she quietly got up to get water. On her way back she heard whining and whimpering, she froze to figure out where the sound was coming from. It was Sofia's room, Camila pushed the door open. She sees the girl clenching onto her teddy bear, the blanket wrapped around her ankle falling off the bed. Camila frowned, entering the room she places her glass down noticing beads of sweat on her sister, even tears. Camila placed a hand on Sofia feeling her body was somewhat cold. Camila lightly shakes her trying to awaken her.

"Sofia." Camila whispers, Sofia trembles.

"Sofia!" Camila says a little clearer suddenly Sofia awakened.

"Mila!" Sofia reaches for Camila.

"Sofia, what's wrong?" Asks Camila

"I had a nightmare." Sofia wipes her tears.

"What was it?" Asks Camila

"Me and you got angry at each other... And then you died right before my eyes." Sofia cried

"Sofia, that will never happen between us! But you know I am not going to be around for long."

"I know but I don't want you to go away angry." Sofia says

"How can I go away angry? If I got the best sister in the world?" Asks Camila

"And mommy and daddy." Sofia adds

"And mommy and Daddy." Camila nods

"Dinah, Ally, Normani and Lauren too."

"Yes them too." Camila nods,
"We better get going to sleep ok Sofia. Goodnight." Camila Says recollecting her glass

"Mila wait!" Sofia pleads

"What is it?" Asks Camila

"Can you sleep with me tonight?" Asks Sofia

"Sure thing." Camila smiles, Camila places the glass back on the night stand and joining Sofia on the bed.Sofia gave Camila some room to get adjusted to the bed, before she curls up against her big sister.

"I love you Mila." Sofia mumbles

"I love you too Sofia." Camila kisses her sisters head closing her eyes.

In the morning Lauren awakened to an empty bed. She frowned and checked the entire floor before going downstairs. She walks past Sofia's room when she stopped and noticed it. Camila was protectively holding Sofia and Sofia was cuddling against Camila her head buried in Camila's hair. Lauren nearly cried, it was such a beautiful and adorable thing to see. Neither of them moved, it was so adorable. Soon Sinuhe appears seeing Lauren standing in front of her babies bedroom.

"Lauren? Is everything ok?" She asks

"Look." Lauren points at the room and Sinuhe looks inside nearly choking. Seeing her daughters asleep together shook her, she knew it wouldn't be long until Sofia will be an only child. Sinuhe began to cry, Lauren stood there and reached for her to give her a hug. Sinuhe accepted her daughters fiancé's hug. The two stood there crying which awakened Sofia. She rolled out of her sisters arms and walked up to her mom.

"Mommy? Why are you crying? Camila is ok see." Sofia walks up to Camila. She knew how to wake up her sister. It wasn't hard she jumped over her. Poking at her and repeating her name. She wasn't waking up, Sofia frowned trying harder.
