Prologue: Enter The U.A.V (United Anti-Virus Movement) [30 Years Ago]

Long ago... in a galaxy far far away, a large pyramid shaped spaceship was flying through many planets in search for an empty world that was capable to provide the necessities of life.

The spaceship was piloted by 3 muscular figures who wore different coloured armour.

One wore yellow and gold armor, and a yellow cape with a logo on his armor.

It was Minister Norton, and he had brought on board some friends with him on his journey. In fact, his 2 friends that joined him were other anti-virus robots that have agreed to join Norton for the ultimate revolution in the history of cyber security.

The first minister to join Norton wore dark green and silver armor and a dark green cape with his own logo, and had a battle scar near his face. His name was Minister Webroot.

Finally, the second minister also joining Norton wore purple and silver armor and a purple cape with her own logo respectfully.

In fact, she is the very first female minister to be involved in cyber security. And her name is Mistress ClamWin.

Together, Norton, Webroot and ClamWin were searching for a habitable world where they can build the ultimate virus syndicate in the history of mankind which they would eventually call... the United Anti-Virus movement.

Inside the conference room of the spaceship, the trio were sitting down on rotating chairs, as they discussed the recent events and news coverage being talked about in the anti-virus community.

"So Minister Norton, what news do you bring from the virus database?" Asked Webroot as he was curious to hear the stories that were happening all around the world.

Norton spun his chair towards the nearest computer and began to type on his keyboard to search the internet.

"Hmm, there appears to be a string of rogues roaming around the computer world. They all claim to be anti-virus software which are actually written by script kiddies who use MD5 hashes to detect and infect users with malware."

Webroot's face became furious, "Those little rat b******s!! And is there a list of victims affected by this attack?" He asked.

Norton turned to ClamWin who was already standing in front of a nearby printer and was printing the website that Norton was currently visiting.

ClamWin removed the paper from the printer and responded,

"Yes Minister Webroot, the list of victims infected by these rogues are portable ATMs at gas stations, a couple of 911 call centers, thousands of computers worldwide, and most disturbingly; a nuclear power plant on Earth."

Webroot was shocked by the list, "Damn, now that's what I call disturbing, but is there anyone who's willing to fight off these rogues in the long run?" Webroot asked as he was concerned for the future of many computer users.

Norton got up from his chair and slowly walked towards the window to think about Webroot's question. After 10 seconds, he suddenly lifted his finger up and turned towards the robots; indicating that he had an idea.

"Well my friends, luckily for us, we may have a possible alliance within our grasp. Imagine this... We bring in MalwareBytes to join us in the fight against viruses."

Webroot and ClamWin thought about it and the green robot responded, "Minister Norton, tis a brilliant idea. However, we have one major flaw in this plan. MalwareBytes is just a minister. One minister against an entire army of rogue software will not be enough to stop these virus authors from continuing to write malware."

Norton's face shifted from delight to disappointment as he turned his back on his friends, he stared at the window of cyberspace while pondering a backup plan.

"You're right, what we need is 'the ultimate anti-virus', one who can fight and eliminate all computer viruses from the past, present and future. But where are we gonna find the perfect anti-virus?"

Norton then notices an empty yellow planet filled with abandoned castles and fortresses. Surprised by his discovery, he turns to face Webroot and ClamWin and announces, "I think we found our planet."

The spaceship lands slowly on the yellow planet and onto a yellow sandy field filled with destroyed rocks, crumbling castle walls and debris from a battle that occurred long ago.

The trio left the spaceship and begin to wander around the planet to inspect if the empty world they landed on was inhabitable.

Suddenly, Norton and his friends discovered the biggest destroyed castle throughout the entire planet.

Filled with delight, Norton heads to a nearby mountainside followed by ClamWin and Webroot to observe the future sight of the United Anti-Virus movement.

"Welcome my friends to the future dig site. Tis here where we shall construct and run the United Anti-Virus movement, along with any anti-virus robot who wishes to join our cause. From here, robots will have the wonderful opportunity of studying cyber security, viruses, disinfection and removal as well as disassembly and recovery." Said Norton as he looked down towards the destroyed castle.

"Think about it my friends... software that doesn't have much code within their scripts can grow and grow ever so slightly. The more knowledge fed to these programs, the more abilities these softwares can obtain." Norton continued.

Webroot approached next to Norton to observe the historical landmark. "Imagine my friends, a new minister can be born here within our ranks."

"Either that, or we can hire some new programmers to assist us in the field. Either way, whichever path these robots wish to take, there is opportunity waiting for everyone who wishes to be part of the U.A.V." Added ClamWin as she also stood next to the ministers to observe the castle.

"I cannot wait to see it, it will truly be beautiful." Said Webroot as they all marveled at the debris of the castle they planned to replace into what would soon become U.A.V headquarters.

But even if the anti-virus building was to be built in a few years time, there was still one thing missing that would surely prevent this entire journey from happening; to which the ministers still needed to think about... The lack of students.

Suddenly, Minister Norton had an idea, he turned towards the other ministers and began to give them orders.

"Minister Webroot and Mistress ClamWin, search every elementary school in the galaxy for children with special personalities, they will become the perfect guinea pigs for our very first class here at U.A.V headquarters."

Both Webroot and ClamWin looked at each other nervously before looking back at Norton.

"Yes my lord, we promise not to fail you." Said Webroot as he and ClamWin bowed before Norton. They all went back to the spaceship to begin their search for robot children that could potentially join the United Anti-Virus movement.

As the 3 ministers were walking back to the meeting room, Mistress ClamWin stopped to look out the window of the yellow planet once more. She then thought to herself, "Minister Norton, I hope you know what you're doing."
