Eight.

I kissed her. She pushed me looking so surprised. Damn, I shouldn't have done that.

"I'm-" I started to say. She shook her head.

"No, no, no. It's okay, Jimin. I get it, I just don't want you to be involved with my messy life, my messy mind. I'm so lost right now. You don't deserve that." She fastly say.

"What are you saying, Y/N?" I asked.

"I know what you feel, Jimin. I assume. And somehow... I feel it too. I just can't let my emotions get the best of me right now.." she answered truthfully.

"I'm sorry, Jimin, I hope you're not mad.." she said shyly.

"I'm not mad. It's all cool, let's just take our time. Finish your unfinished business... and hopefully, you'll choose me." I said with a sigh.

She looked at me full of concern. She caressed my hands.

"Shall we get going?" She asked.

"Hmm. I think I have to stay a little bit longer." I answered wanting to drink everything that has happened. 

"Umm... I can stay with you if you want." Y/N suggested.

"No, it's okay. Okay? Don't worry." I said while looking at her intently.

"Okay. Just call me if you need me." She said and kissed my cheek.

She waved goodbye.

I kept drinking thinking I can forget what just happened. She isn't ready yet. Okay? There's no need to worry. If she really likes you and wants to be with you, she will go back to you. She will take a risk.

After a few more drinks, I decided to come back to my room. I'm thinking of messaging her, but... is it too clingy? Where is she right now?

She might be asleep.

I went to the shower and rest up. Damn. Why do I feel like I'm going to lose her at anytime? Is it because it's happening so fast??? Or am I really falling for someone who I barely know? Ugh, Jimin-ah... you're really head over heels about this girl huh.

Fuck, I can't sleep. I went out for a walk. A peaceful one.. I hope.

As I was walking down the beach, I could see a petite figure from afar sitting in the sand with her head on her knees. As I get closer, her tight dress is somewhat familiar with what Y/N's wearing.

I sprinted towards her and there, she looked at me with a faint smile.

"Oh hey.." she greeted me.

"Hey... what are you doing here?" I asked and sat down beside her.

"Jiminshi..." she called me.

"Hmm?" I hummed.

"I... I went to see Jungkook a while ago..." she said.

I could feel my heartbeat slow down as she said those words.

"Why?" I asked bravely.

"I wanted to get my closure." She answered.

I sighed in relief.

"And? Were you able to close that chapter?" I asked.

"Yes. I was able to get my closure." She answered. 

"After how many years, I'm now at peace." She added.

"Then what are you doing here alone?" I asked curiously.

"Well... I was just enjoying how quiet it is and just to hear the waves crash through the sand." She said and smiled.

I remained quiet for a while. And the next thing I know, she's leaning on my shoulder. I was caught off guard but I smiled. I felt her weight on me. I think she's falling asleep. I let her be until she's fully asleep.

...

I woke up with such a banging headache. As I was stretching out, I could feel somebody's presence beside me on the bed. I quickly seated up to see who it was and it revealed Jimin.

What in the world is he doing here?

I looked at myself.. thank God I'm still fully clothed. And Jimin as well.

WAIT A DAMN MINUTE, I'M NOT IN MY ROOM.

When did I even passed out????
