The Things Hidden in the Black

What would you do if you could never see the night sky?
Which would you pick, would you live or die?
The answer is simple, yet the truth isn't such,
What would you do if the one you love is the one you can never touch?

Sand seeping through the stars,
The best things are the ones glowing in the dark,
But would you see your love in the light?
Even if it means you both are blind?

What would you do if you could never see the night sky?
Which would you choose, would you tell the truth or spread a deathly lie?
Life and death are simple, both aren't much,
But what would you do if your heart is standing on your enemy's crutch?

Ink spilling from your eyes,
Spreading like all those stupid little lies,
You better run, darling, you better run
Because if they catch you, you'll die

What would you do if you could never see the sun?
Would any day be just as fun?
Appreciate the things hidden in the black,
As one day you'll be one of them, forever left with no one to watch your back.
