Nikolai Gogol + Fyodor Dostoyevsky.

Fluff.

It's been long enough since their last date. They always liked to go to the same places: Amusement parks, cafeterias... That sort of stuff. Today, after a long chat while laying down in their bed, they decided to expand a little their comfort zone and try new things together.

As they finally walk out of their home, they smile. They're just having a break. No work, no world domination plans going on at the moment. Just a normal couple going on a date. As they hold hands, the raven plays with Gogol's fingers, and the jester just knows that he wants to speak. So, stopping in their tracks, the silver haired young man looks at whom he swore eternal love and listens.

"I was checking places yesterday on blogs and stuff. I saw some aquarium thing... Would you like to go?" it was a brief question, and the answer has slipped right after Fyodor mentioned the aquarium.

Truth is, Nikolai has never visited or seen an aquarium. Neither did the Russian, which is why he asked.

Nodding, Dostoyevsky starts walking with his beloved jester, not even having the need to check directions. It was enough with what he remembers. He read the location on that magazine blog, and it was just his nice memory doing the work for him. It was a short trip, considering how close they already were. On their way, they acquired some dango, so the raven didn't even bother asking before paying for the entrance fees at the aquarium. Before Nikolai could protest, he placed one of his fingers on the jester's lips, explaining. "You bought the snacks, it is only fair for me to pay this."

With a little 'mhm' from the silver haired young man, it was enough. Walking inside the building, they both immediately went through every single fish tank, reading the notes about said specimens as they walked by, so obviously surprised by the various water creatures and amphibians. Of all colors, shapes and sizes.

After a short while walking around the area, Dostoyevsky checks on his husband. He always does. It's a habit already. "You seem to be having fun? I thought you'd get bored, considering you don't usually try to stay calm and quiet like now." Of course, as expected, the clown replies excitedly while moving to another fish tank. It was just a new place they were visiting, yet such a good excuse to go out together and be romantic, even if they already are without having to step out of their home. The Ukrainian knew that. Why not enjoy a sweet Dos-kun taking care of him and enjoying some time together that didn't involve working under serious circumstances or even life threatening situations? This opportunity was hard to come by.

And they would take advantage of it. Who knows when would the next opportunity show up... But, while they could, they'd enjoy every single second of it.
