Sooyoung knocked on Hyejoo's door, wondering if Hyejoo was alright. Upon returning home the prior day she seemed furious as if something absolutely awful had happened. "Hyejoo, sweetie?" Sooyoung said gently. "Get the fuck away from me, Sooyoung!" Hyejoo yelled from inside the room. Sooyoung considered that her signal to come in. She opened the door, not having to look far for Hyejoo when she spotted her laying on the floor.
She still wore her bloody clothes from the night before, and hadn't done anything but wallow in her own guilt and shame. Nothing else seemed worth doing anymore. "Hyejoo, come downstairs and eat something, will you?"
Hyejoo hid her face in her arms, laying on her stomach and avoiding Sooyoung altogether. "Oh, baby, are you okay?" Sooyoung said, kneeling down and rubbing Hyejoo's back. "I don't want to talk about it,"
"Why are you... what happened?" Sooyoung asked, seeing the dried blood on Hyejoo's fingers. "Are you injured?"
"ENOUGH WITH THE QUESTIONS, LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Sooyoung scowled. "I would love to give you all the space you need, but I need to know, I'm not asking as your leader, I'm asking as your boss,"
"I don't care,"
Sooyoung growled. "Tell me, or you're not gonna see your girlfriend for a long time,"
"I don't have a girlfriend anymore,"
Sooyoung's eyes widened. "DID YOU KILL HER?" Sooyoung yelled seeing the blood all over Hyejoo's outfit.
"Might as well have,"
"What does that mean!?"
"She hates me, my life is over,"
Sooyoung frowned. "It's okay, you'll get through this, Joo. It's just a breakup, you'll be okay,"
"It's not just a breakup! She meant everything to me, I don't know what to do... and I ruined her life..."
"How, honey?"
"It's hard to explain."
"I have time," Sooyoung said, continuing to pet Hyejoo's back, urging her to give her the details of yesterday's events.

"I just don't understand, Hyunnie! I thought everything was gonna be okay," Chaewon lamented, laying out in Hyunjin's lap.
Hyunjin and Chaewon were coworkers turned friends, but somehow ended up trauma-bonded through the incident a couple days ago.
Nothing had ever hurt so bad, she couldn't believe that someone she'd grown to love was so evil, not only that, but she felt even worse for not seeing it coming.
She'd gotten all the warning signs, she saw all the red flags, and her own innocent and naivety got her into this position. Hyunjin was bad at this kind of thing; she didn't exactly know what to tell Chaewon, so instead, she just held Chaewon close and let her cry.
Hyunjin had always been a caring soul, always wanting to help others. So naturally, taking care of Chaewon was natural. "I can't believe I fell for it," Chaewon cried as Hyunjin pet her back. "I'm so dumb,"
"You aren't dumb, Chae. She's just insane, she was just using you, don't blame yourself for what that asshole did to you,"
"Don't call her that... It's not her fault, that man... he was... I can't explain it,"
"It's not her fault that she murdered someone in front of you and then slapped you for being upset about it? That's nonsense,"
"I know... but..."
