Chapter 6 - Stay

So there is individual Chapters for each answer , Yes and No. If you choose No I still advise you to read the Yes chapter afterward. The same as if you pick Yes.

He has the lie diesease !! He's lying. He doesnt hate me , does he ? I walk over to his hospital bed and grab his hand "I think I'm gonna stay" I say , resting my forehead against his. We're so close right now. He flashes me a smile and scoots over , leaving me a bit of room to lay with him.

It seems like he can control his actions but not his words. Suddenly there is a quick knock on the door. Its Mikan , she flashes me a smile and walks to the other side of the bed to Nagito. Reaching into the pocket of her apron , she grabs a thermometer and takes Nagito's temperatur. "100.5 !" she says , "I guess its a bit better than before ?" She reaches back into her pockets and pulls out this blue bottle of medicine.

"Open wide" she says , Nagito opens his mouth and she squirts the syringe filled with medicine into his mouth. He squeezed his eyes shut and flashes a bitter look. It was pretty cute. The medicine smells weird. "This medicine controls his lying for about 30 minutes or so ? It takes a few minutes to activate" She says tilting her head slightly to the side.

She gathers her stuff and makes her way out of the room. She winks at me and waves. Thats weird ... I think to myself. Suddenly I feel Nagito rest his head on my shoulder. We Sit like this for a few minutes. "Im sorry for what I said earlier Hajime .... It just hurts so bad ... " He wraps his arms around me. "I love you Hajime" He says , Gray eyes staring into my soul. Am I dreaming ? The medicine must have malfunctioned or something. He's not serious is he ?

"Are you lying again ?" I say , in doubt. "No , Mikan gave me this medicine remember ?" He says , chuckling a bit. "You dont have to give me a response , i know it was out of the blue" He says looking out of the window. "No , I have feelings for you too Nagito. I have for a while." I say smiling at him. "Lets enjoy these last 30 minutes" I say , holding onto his hand.

I reach into the counter next to us , rumaging Hoping to find something to do. I come across a hairbrush. I grab it and begin to examine , it looks brand new. "Nagito , turn around" I tell him. He nodds his head and does so. His back almost up against my chest. I begin the brush through his long white hair.

It seems like it hasnt been brushed in a while. Considering that it has been about a week since we've seen eachother. I look over to the side and spot a childrens coloring book and crayons. I get up to grab it , This is giving me so many memories. I hand Nagito the book and crayons and go back to brushing his hair.

He starts flipping through the pages and stops on a four leaf clover. He begins to color the paper like a little kid. I get distracted by his coloring and I completely forget i was brushing his hair. He looks back at me causing me to snap out of it.

He's so pretty. I continue what i was previously doing. "Nagito ... Im really sorry for not visiting earlier" I say , Hopeing he will forgive me. "Its okay , I understand" He says , flashing a quick smile. I look over his shoulder to see his progress. He colors so perfectly. Maybe he just is perfect. 5 minutes go by with complete silence. Its kind of awkward.

"Hajime look !! Pretty , right ?!?" He says , It starlted me , considering it was out of nowhere. He starts laughing resting his hand on my upper thigh. "Yes Nagito , I really like it" I reply. He rips it the paper out of the book and folds it up to where its pocket sized. Slipping it into my hand he says "Infinite Luck".

"Mikan said I have to stay here forever" He says. I widen my eyes , shoked by his statement. I glancs at the clock and its 10:57 , considering i got here around 10:20. The medicine should have worn off by now.

"Nagito !! You scared me , Good thing you're lying." I say. I feel bad for him , 90% of the time he cant control what he says. "I'm really tired ..." He says. Followed by a yawn. He lays down next to me , his back against my chest. I wrap my arms around him , pulling him close. Maybe this is the start to my Love Story. Hopefully.
