Leia Laurar was new to the outerbanks , originally being from new jersey and living there her whole life she grew up with her strong new york accent . but once moving to the outer banks she finds they do things a little different then they did in her little flower state.
When she first moves to outer banks she immediately notices 2 things . One being the war on each side of the island , and Two , there accents. Although the second thing wasnt as important she still pointed it out to her mom.
It would be a lie to say the people in the outerbanks werent intrigued by the 16 year old. She was different a new bait for the sharks , her mother Enice Laurar would say. Her style, Her accent, Her way of acting so reckless when she barely knew the people she was around. It made most boy attracted to her and most girls feel threatened by the new girl from jersey.
But when she meets a boy from her side of the island he quickly takes acknowledgement and introduces Leia to his friend group, who give her the most exciting and thrilling summer of her life, the summer shes been waiting for .
