This is so delayed, and I'm so sorry. I'm not promising updates will be regular after this, either. But I love you all and if you're still here then you're a rock star. Also I did not proofread this at all so I'm very sorry for any mistakes that might be in here.

They spent the rest of the night in various tangled positions, moaning quietly (or sometimes loudly, in Taylor's case), taking time to learn all of the little nuances of each other's bodies. And when they finally fell asleep, it was already nearing sunrise. But it's not like they could really care, because they were tangled up in each other, and that's all that mattered.
Karlie slept soundly, dreamlessly, a sort of blackness that was absolutely peaceful. There were no nightmares. There were no bad thoughts. And when she awoke, it was early, but she wasn't even all that tired. Taylor was still curled against her, head buried against Karlie's sternum, and the werewolf kissed the top of her head a few times, gently trailing her fingers up and down her spine until Taylor began to stir.
After a few moments, the singer's head lifted. Her hair was wild from both Karlie's fingers and her own tugging at it, strands sticking up and curling in like some sort of wild lion. Karlie reached out, brushing the hair from Taylor's eyes, and the sleepy blue depths stared back at her, blinking lazily. A small smile tugged at Taylor's lips, "Good morning."
"Morning, you. Your throat sore from all of that screaming you did last night?" Karlie asked, dipping her head to kiss Taylor's nose.
Taylor swatted lazily at her arm, looking incredibly indignant, "My throat is fine!"
But even as she spoke, her voice crackled a bit like static, and her face flushed bright red. Karlie laughed quietly, pulling Taylor into her body, allowing the other girl to press her warm, reddened face into her neck.
They just curled up there for a moment, breathing slowly, memorizing the feeling of each other. But even as they did, an idea was brewing in Karlie's head. Before long, she nudged her head under Taylor's chin in a gesture that was subtly primal. Her nose brushed against the blonde's, and quietly, she murmured, "Let's go on another road trip."
"When?" Taylor asked, her blue eyes sparkling.
"Tomorrow."

"She's so lucky, she's a star, but she cry-cry-cries in her lonely heart," Taylor was in the passenger's seat, belting the words out at full volume. Her head was thrown back with the force of her singing, and Karlie couldn't help but laugh, struggling to focus on the beautiful sights of the Pacific coast highway when there was something even more lovely next to her.
They had flown out to Taylor's Los Angeles home the day before, and this morning they had set off, much like they had months ago. There were backs packed in the trunk, and Taylor had managed to convince her security that they'd be fine. They hadn't liked it. Tree had been especially horrified. But no one could resist Taylor's sad kitten face.
The song trailed off into another that Taylor seemed less inclined to sing at the top of her lungs, and Karlie smiled at her humming subtly instead as she flipped through playlists and tried to find something else loud and upbeat. The road stretched out before them, and Karlie sighed slightly, knowing there was something she had to address, "We'll be out there on the full moon."
