Steve brings bucky to his bedroom to give him a bath ad bucky was covered in filth and god knows what but when Steve went to put bucky down on his bed bucky clung tight to Steve's top and won't let go so steve had to run the bath one handed which he managed to do by the way but bucky wouldn't let go to Steve had to comprofise and get in the bath with bucky as he wouldn't let go.
After the bath bucky was absolutely shattered and wanted to fall asleep but wouldn't because bucky felt unsafe as he wasn't in Steve's arms.
It was about 9pm when Steve eventually got bucky settled for the night but what Steve didn't know was that bucky would have very seriously bad nightmares about what he went through, bucky was sleeping peaceful when suddenly he was having a horrible nightmare about being abandoned by Steve because he wad too much for him. But when bucky woke up in tears when Steve went to calm bucky down all bucky could do it sob harder and back away form Steve still thinking he is going to leave him and bucky was saying but it was hardly hearle " nooo way go way Stebb way".
But Steve told bucky he wasn't going anywhere which was true.
