Asta's Secret

They completed their first mission with an astounding success and as a reward for their accomplishments the wizard king himself gave them a star while all were celebrating Noelle wasn't she saw what Asta did with pure physical strength and what kind of magic did Asta use he had no mana but how did he,she was determined to know his secret so she gathered couraged and asked Asta to give her a minute

Noelle:Asta, today we completed our first mission and we succeeded

Asta:yeah that was awesome I can't believe it I completed my first mission and we also got a star from the wizard king himself (his eyes were sparkling)

Noelle:yeah about that,how did you do that?

Asta:I did what?

Noelle(thinking in her mind):is he really that dense or is he acting like that

Asta:say something..

Noelle mastered all her courage closed her eyes and said in an instant "you have no mana but still with your physical strength you tanked their every single hit and dispelled their attacks and how did you cancel out their magic how did you get that power and your physical strength its not possible it's not human"

Asta after hearing Noelle's doubt started to laugh badly

Noelle:what is there to laugh?hmph..

Asta:well if you really want to know then I guess I must tell but never tell it to anybody please

Noelle: ......

Asta:I didn't have any magic as you might know and I am from the Hage village I was an orphan,as the father of the church states I was left outside the door of the church with Yuno who you might know is a member of the golden we were like brothers but he was the best he had the most magic power among us it was really fascinating that how a commoner can have this much mana everyone looked up to him and we occasionally used to duel me with my physical strength and he with his magic there was a clear difference between us he was a prodigy and I was a commoner,but I never gave up I trained my body as much as I could until the day of the grimoire ceremony Yuno got the 4leaf grimoire while I got a shabby never seen before grimoire which was a 5leaf

Noelle:a five leaf you mean a de-devil?

Asta:I knew you would freak out but before you say anything let me show you something,Liebe could you please come out of the grimoire for a second

Liebe:why the hell did you have to ruin my nice little sleep urghh fine

Noelle saw a black devilish aura coming out of the grimoire and finally it took the shape of a devil,anyone would freak out but Noelle just burst out to laughter as he saw Asta and Liebe's height the same and she certainly didn't expect a devil to be like this

Asta:you-you are laughing aren't you scared of him

Noelle:no I am not by seeing him I just realised that being a devil doesn't necessary mean that you have to be a bad guy besides I am excited to hear his origin

Noelle then started to think in her mind that why is she acting out if character today perhaps the curiosity part took over her brain completely for today

Liebe then explained about their origin and how they trained and broke their limiter

Noelle:Limiter?

Asta: Yes human being has a limiter in them which limits their potential but in this world of magic this part his heavily ignored and people are more attracted towards magic than this but since I had no magic it served me as a catalyst to discover this hidden strength of human body I trained hard and with consistency and with a never giving up spirit I finally broke my limiter giving me access to infinite potential thats why I can tank those attacks just like Liebe

Noelle: I never knew something like that exi-

Vanessa:hey you two love birds wanna come shopping with me let's spend our first income in something good

Noelle quickly turned her head in embarrassment and said "no it's nothing like that"(she didn't realised but her face turned red out of embarrassment)

Asta:what kind of bird is a love bird?a magical beast tell me more about

Vanessa:time will answer that I can help you Noelle to find an item for magic control

Noelle:perhaps I think I can spare some of my royal time for that(finally I am back in character)

Vanessa:well then lets gooo!!
