chapter-4 (Movie nit)

Mithra pov:

After reaching home, without waiting for my  dad or daniel.

I got out of the car and.

I straight away went to the front door and was about to open it.

But before I could open the door,
The person on the other side opened the door and I was immediately pulled into a hug by none other than Daniel mom Nancy.

I didn't except it and I was frozen in place but after sometimes, I returned the hug.

But by the time we both began to separate from each other.

My dad and Daniel had already gone inside like we both didn't exist or stand in the front of the door.

After hug Nancy Aunt dragged me  to the living room and began to tell me that how she has wanted to meet me in person but could not come to see me sooner because of her continuous work load .

Then nancy Aunt was talking non stop without any  break and I began think how come a person can talk this much without a break continuously and I thought of her as some RJ or VJ because she will be apat for that work.

After sometimes, I was saved from her rant by Daniel who have appeared beside me and interputed her talks by saying," Mom, enough of talking with Mithra, Anut jannu has called you for some help in cooking".

To which Anut Nancy replied," okay Daniel " and then turned towards me and said," I will talk to you later Mithra" .

Within a second, she was gone in a lighting speed from my sight and disappear into the kitchen.

Then I turned towards Daniel who was now looking at me like he was about to talk , but not opened his mouth to speak.

I raised my eyebrow to indicate what he wanted to tell.

Daniel began to say," sorry about my mom, she is alwys like that only, if she began to talk no one can Stop her".

To which I replied that "It was no problem, I really like your mother's rambling because with her I think I can survive her rambling talks and I do enjoy her company", I said with giggle.

To which Daniel chuckled.

" So, since our parents are occupied with each other, how about we watch some movie from Netflix to kill the time, since we have nothing to do since today is the first day of college" , I asked daniel and waited for his replies who was  thinking deeply about what I said.

After few seconds, he replied with a devil eating grin on his face," okay, but I will choose the movie is that okay with you".

To which I said,"As long as it entertain us, I am okay with Any movie ".

As soon as the words escaped my lips, I saw a mysterious glint in his eyes which say that I have dicked my own grave.

But nevertheless I appear confident before him.

After that, we settle in my room with my laptop and Daniel was scrolling through the movie to select one which we would watch.

Atlast after waiting for 10 mins, Daniel selected a movie and it began to play

With the background music of the movie, I instantly recognise that it is a horror movie and my face become pale.

Then soon after a ghost appeared in the screen and I began to shout to stop the movie.

Seeing my reaction Daniel burst out laughing while pausing the movie.

"Oh my god, your reaction is absolutely entertaining than the movie, may be I think I should have capture your face reaction in my phone" , he said inbetween his laughing fist.

" Okay, don't laugh at me", I demanded at him with narrowed eyes.

But he continued to laugh at me.

Since he could not control his laughter, I grabbed my pillow because no other object is within my reach and throw at him.

But he caught it with ease and began to laugh louder double times.
Sometimes after he stopped laughing to hold his breath.

I was looking at him this whole time with a pout.

He pinched my cheeks saying that I was cute.

But when he touched my cheeks with his hands there was a electricity flow in my body and I was blushing without any reason.

Seeing me he also retrieved his  hands quickly and there was a awarked silence between us.

Then we began to watch some other movie silently without any talk.

And sometimes I caught him staring at me but whenever I looked at him he will act like he is watching the movie sincerely.

One and half hour later my mom called us out for the dinner.

We both went down to eat.

The dinner was quite peaceful with random talks between our parents and their  constant glacing between me and Daniel.

After dinner Daniel family went to  their home.

Then I went to my room and began to think about today incident but when I looked at window, I saw something hiding behind the tree.

But could not just identify what it is.

When I was about to look at it further more.

Just then my phone rang and when I looked at the screen, it display some unknow number.

I debated whether to attend it or not since it is a unknown number.

Before I can decide the ring has ended  leaving it as missed call.

But then again my phone rang displaying the same unknown number.

So I decide to attend it so that I could know who is calling me at this time.

When the person on the other side spoken, I was shocked because I was not just expecting that person to call me...................
