Tragedy (part two)

Dr Sean's POV

After all these years of knowing Dr Roberts I've never seen the devastated look in his eyes after that phone call.He storms down the hall to his office and slams the door, I really want to see if he's ok but I know he needs a little time.

I'm done doing my rounds now and it's been about an hour and his door to his office is still closed.I knock once, there's no answer, I knock again and quietly let him know I'm coming in.
I try to compose myself for him but seeing him hunched over, hugging a picture frame to his chest sobbing, is very hard to see. I'm going to speak when there is loud commotion out in the hallway. Dr Roberts jumps out of his chair running towards the noise, I quickly follow and hault in my steps at the sight before me.

Marc's POV

Dr Roberts has us at the Charleston border line. We're watching out for someone that's smuggling drugs and guns into our state. The informant said they get dropped off in packages right off the highway. Raven and I are sitting in the truck and Axel and Brandon are on the other side of the highway. At 3:00 in the morning we see a big truck pull up and unload something from the back. We can't see what it is but we definitely know that the people are German, we can hear them talking. Ravens translating, something about 'their boss and how evil he is and that she shouldn't have threatened him with their daughter.'

Once the guys jump back in there truck, we see something small drop from underneath the truck staying still flat on there back until the truck pulls off then we realize it's a person, it's a girl. She runs to what they threw out of the truck.

I realize she's picking up the upper half of a woman's body screaming and crying. I snap out of it when I see Axel and Brandon run her way. I jump out of my truck and stop in my tracks when I see the girl pull out a gun. She starts screaming in German, I look at Raven because I have no idea what she's saying.

Raven

Something's wrong with this beautiful broken bird. She's beaten and her bright green eyes look haunted and terrified, but strong. She won't let go of the women she's holding, she just keeps screaming mama, mama!

"Mutter nicht, Mutter Bitte lass mich nicht!" (Mom no mom please don't leave me).

I just want to help her I go forward and speak in German: "Wir werden lhnen helfen." (We will help you).

She pulls her gun out on Axel, when he tries to take a step towards her, he puts his hands up in the air. I tell him to stop, I repeat what she said and who the women is to her. He wants me to tell her it's ok we can help them, when she starts talking in English we turn and look at her.
