Part 27 Ludwig's Birthday

Today was your boyfriend's 20th birthday, and you planned out a nice formal dinner at a nice restaurant with the whole family. You warned Iggy and the younger siblings to behave themselves because you know that they were known for behaving inappropriately on special occasions. You woke up to make Ludwig his breakfast. His favourite breakfast was Belgian waffles with whipped cream, maple syrup and topped with strawberries. As he came downstairs, you placed his breakfast on the table and went over to give him a hug and kiss.

Y/n: "Good morning, Luddy. Happy Birthday!"

Ludwig: "Thanks, Y/n."

He sat down to eat his breakfast, and he loved the food you made for him.

Ludwig: "Thanks, princess. You make very delicious Belgian waffles."

Y/n: "You're welcome, babe."

After he finished eating, he placed his dish in the sink and you both went to hang out in his room. What Ludwig didn't know was that you learned to speak a little bit of German from a language learning app called Babbel, and you planned on using what you learned to say a few sentences to Ludwig.

At 4:30, you got dressed in a sleeveless royal blue dress and you were wearing tan colored sandals. You also wore a diamond necklace with matching diamond earrings. You went to Ludwig's room to see him wearing a fancy royal blue tuxedo with a white dress shirt, and a royal blue bowtie around his neck.

Y/n: "Liebling~"(Darling)

Ludwig: "Yes, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Du siehst einfach umwerfend aus."(You simply look stunning)

He looked surprised that you taught yourself to speak German, and he smiles and kisses your cheek.

Ludwig: "Thanks, baby girl. You look beautiful in that dress."

You both went downstairs where the rest of the family was all dressed up and waiting to go. After half an hour, you all arrived at the restaurant and went to a large table where you all took your seats. You looked at the menu as Ludwig ordered some expensive wine for the two of you. After a few minutes, everyone ordered their food. Ludwig ordered a fillet mignon with a side of steamed vegetables, and you ordered a bowl of pasta with a side of green salad. As you waited for the food to come, you saw that the younger siblings were behaving good so far. That was until Lemmy was showing Iggy something funny, and he was trying to hold in his laughter.

You tried to shush them up, but Iggy couldn't hold in his laughter, and the whole restaurant heard him laughing. Ludwig was slightly pissed off and you were blushing in embarassment. Then, Larry and Lemmy were swordfighting with the breadsticks on the table and Roy and Morton were arm wrestling. Everything became chaotic, and Bowser leaned over to whisper something in your ear.

Bowser: "I'll take the rest of these guys home. I've made a secondary reservation for you and Ludwig in a private VIP room. "

Y/n: "Ok. Thanks, Bowser."

You gtabbed Ludwig's arm and took him to the VIP room where there was your food and the bottle of expensive wine. As you two were eating, you still felt embarassed from the situation back there.

Y/n: "I'm so sorry this birthday was a disaster."

Ludwig: "What are you talking about, princess?"

Y/n: "All I wanted was a nice quiet dinner for your birthday, and your siblings had to ruin the occasion."

Ludwig: "Y/n, this isn't your fault. My siblings always misbehave, it's part of their personality. With them gone, I finally get to enjoy dinner with my beautiful girlfriend."

He leans over to kiss your cheek as he whispers in your ear.

Ludwig: "Du bist mein ein und alles."(you mean the whole world to me)

You understood what that meant as you blushed and slightly looked away. Ludwig gently grasped your hand and kissed it softly for a few seconds.

Ludwig: "Thanks for planning out this dinner, Y/n. I really enjoyed it."

Y/n: "You're welcome, my prince."

You reached under the table and passed him a small box. He opens the box and he pulls out an expensive watch. He adjusts it on his wrist, and he gives you a hug.

Ludwig: "Thanks, princess. I love the watch."

Y/n: "You're welcome, babe."

After you two finish eating your dinner, you payed for the meal, and you two went back to the castle. You two got changed out of your clothes, and put on something more comfortable to sleep in. You slowly got underneath the covers as Ludwig lays down beside you, and he pulls you close to him. He softly kissed your lips as you both slowly fall asleep.
