LEAH

It's been a minute since I've seen or heard from Will. I've sent him numerous of texts this morning, but he didn't answer. I even tried calling him a few times, yet still no answer. I hope that he was okay. It wasn't like him to not return any of my calls or texts.

What if he was avoiding me? He probably thought that after we had sex that was it for us. What if he just wanted the cookie? Nah, he's not like that. He wouldn't just hit it and quit it. Would he? I'm probably tripping.

I sent him another text before putting my phone away and joining the cheerleaders for practice.

"Alright, ladies lets practice." The captain stated.

I really did hope he was good. After all, he has me worried.

———————————

"Good work, girls. Y'all can go home." Stacy said.

After she said that, I gathered my things. I checked my phone to see if Will responded back, but he didn't. I sighed, staring at my screen.

"Hey, Leah." A voice said behind me.

I turned to see my cheer mate, Tanya.

"Hey, Tanya." I greeted.

"How's, Will?"

"Uh, I'm not sure. I haven't heard from him in like a week, but the last time I saw him, he was doing okay."

"That's good. It's a shame what happened to him. He didn't deserve that."

"Yeah, but he'll be back soon, so don't worry."

We continued to chat until I heard something that caught my attention.

Brayden

God, I hate school. Who needs to know this shit anyway? I'm going to be a pro ball player. What do I need to know Shakespeare for?

I was at my locker, when my teammates, Justin and Anthony walked up. They don't get much time on the court.

"Yo, Brayden what's up?" Justin asked.

"Nothing, bro about to head to my English class."

"How's Will? I haven't heard about him in a minute." Anthony said.

"He's good. Shit, he's more than good."

"What you mean?" Anthony asked, confused.

"I had visited him and walked in on him clapping cheeks in his hospital room."

"Word? In the hospital?" Justin asked, shocked.

"Yes! In the hospital, dude." I grabbed my books out of my locker.

"He's bold as fuck. Wait! Who's the girl he was with?" Anthony asked.

"Kani."

"You're lying!" They both shouted in unison.

"Shhh...y'all loud as hell and I ain't lying. I seen it. I guess she felt bad, so she gave him some pussy." I shrugged.

"Damn, I guess it doesn't matter when people cheat anymore." Anthony shook his head.

"Yeah, I gotta go to class. I'll see y'all later though." I closed my locker and walked off.

Shit, I just lied out of my teeth, but Will ain't fooling nobody. I know that's what he was doing. What if this gets around? It won't cause ain't nobody gonna care.
