~Christmas Day~

Christmas. What a beautiful holiday in the year. A time where families spend quality time together, giving and receiving gifts, enjoying each other's company, and just being a happy family. Today's going to be magical.

It's disheartening that my grandma won't be here with us this Christmas and many Christmases and other holidays to come, but I know that she's watching my family and I from above.

Today, Will and I decided to divide our Christmas. He'll join my family for breakfast and I'll join him and his mom for dinner. It's a win win for the both of us. I get to see him twice in one day, so I'm stoked about that.

I couldn't wait to give him his gift. I'm curious about his reaction, but hopefully it's a good one. I spent a pretty penny on that Rolex, so I hope he likes it.

I was already up and dressed, so I went into the kitchen and my mom whipping it up.

"Mmmm, smells good in here."

"Your mama's doing it up in here." My dad kissed her cheek.

"You're right about that, Dad."

"You two set up the table. I'm just about done." She said.

"Okay." I followed my dad.

~An Hour Later~

The food was finished and set on the table. My mom did her thing. She made pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, pudding, and biscuits. My mouth watered at the sight. I was ready to dive in, but we had to wait for Will.

"Lee, when is Will coming?" My mom asked.

He should be here any minute. After I said that, the doorbell chimed.

"That must be him." I went and answered the door.

"Good morning." I allowed him inside.

"Good morning." He said, coming in.

"Is breakfast ready? I'm starving." He rubbed his hands together.

"Yeah, right this way." I led him into the kitchen.

After he greeted my parents, we all got our plates and piled them with food. Once we were seated at the table, we blessed the food and dived in.

Breakfast was good and we had an amazing time. I was stuffed as hell. My dad even behaved the entire time. He and Will made good conversation and Will was comfortable talking to him. After we helped my mom clean the kitchen, we went to my room, where I was going to give him his gift.

I went to my dresser and pulled out a small box. I turned towards him and handed it over.

"Merry Christmas."

He held a puzzled look on his face as he took it from me.

"What's this?"

"Your Christmas present."

"Christmas present?"

I nodded. "Just open it."

He did as told and tore the wrapping paper off. His mouth dropped as he stared at the silver and gold Rolex.
