LISA POV

12 YEARS LATER

"HEY, SON, GET OUT OF YOUR ROOM!!!!" I yelled at him through the door.

"Leave me alone, mom," my son said.

Ugh, these kids. Remember when they were just 4 years old and fighting over a toy in the beginning. 12 years seems to fly pretty fast. Now I have 2 angsty teens who stay in their room and does god knows what.

"Speaking of which, what is Jeonsan doing," I said as I was walking up to my daughter's room.

I walked over to her room and peeked the door open; I heard her talking on the phone with someone.

*eavesdropping*

"No bitch, but like that coffee was bussin," she was talking to her friends on the phone.

Bussin, what does that mean.

"~SHEESH~ girl stop cappin," Jeonsan said.

Okay, this is some gen z slang that I don't understand. What happened to hi, what's your name, oh my name is Chad; I love your outfit. Anyway, once Jeonsan got off the phone, I walked into her room.

"Jeonsan," I said.

"Oh, hi, mom," she said.

"Who were you just talking to," I asked.

"A friend from school," she replied.

"So, Jeonsan did you do the homework that your teachers asked you to do," I asked her.

"Mom, I did my homework, I'm passing every class~

"Except for math," I cut her off.

"Well, it's not my fault that some idiot from history decided to add letters into mathematics; when did he think that was a good idea? Letters belong in grammar, numbers belong in math, is that so hard grasp," she ranted on.

Yep, that's my daughter; she got her smart-ass attitude from her father. Please lord, let the teenage phase of my kids be over soon.

"Well, you need to get your grades up, missy," I pointed at her.

"Funny you should mention that," she said.

"What is it," I asked.

"The school is setting me a boy to tutor me today," she said. "Heard he's in the same grade except he's in much more advance classes; I think he will be a big help," Jeonsan said.

*DING DONG*

"Oh perfect timing, he's here," Jeonsan got up from her bed and walked over to the door.
