Hawks and Dabi end up getting in a big fight, there's shouting and screaming from both sides but they will never physically hurt each other.

"Why are you always like this!?!?" glaring at dabi with so much anger.

"What are you talking about?" bewildered by what Hawks's accusation.

       "You're no better than Endeavor!!"

"Don't you dare compare me to that bastard!!" rage flash across Dabi's eyes

       "I'm right aren't I"

"..." unconsciously placing his hand on his stomach.

However, Mentally hurting each other is free game. Dabi is so pissed that he grabs the Endeavor plushie that Hawks had since he was little and was about to burn it. Every emotion flashed across Hawks's face as he begs Dabi not to burn it. Dabi burns it to a crisp. It's nothing but ashes now. Hawks stares in shock before putting on a neutral face.

       "Are you done?"

No response.

       "Get out, we're through."

Dabi swallowed loudly, noting he stepped over a line.

       "Hawks..."

       "Out!"

"...fine...this will be the last you will ever see of me."

       "Good."

Dabi walks away, but not before grabbing what was his. A duffel bag with all his stuff as if Dabi knew this was going to happen.

We weren't going to last, Hawks. Not with all the fighting, constant break-ups, getting- back-togethers lasting only for a moment, merely to repeat in an endless cycle.

Hawks didn't notice. He was in too much pain. As soon as Dabi is out of hearing range, Hawks lets out a wounded scream as he scrambles to pick up the ashes and watches it slip between his fingers.

Little did Hawks know that the plushie Dabi burn was not the one from his childhood, but a replica. Dabi was worried that there would be a time he would go too far and burn something precious to Hawks, he knows how important that plushie is to Hawks, so he made a replica of it. He hid the real one in a gift box & put it in the closet.

Somehow Dabi's family found out. They weren't happy with what Dabi did to Hawks and started to outcast him once again until Dabi stopped caring, stopped coming, stopped contacting them. Dabi found all the items that belonged to Hawks at his apartment. Instead of keeping or burning them, he packed them up and left them in front of Hawks's apartment. Dabi lost his spark. All his loved ones want nothing to do with him. He lost. The bet he made with him and he lost. If Dabi lost the bet, he would have to disappear without a trace. It wouldn't be so hard since all the people who cared about wouldn't miss him...they would be happy they wouldn't have to deal with him anymore. Little did Dabi know he was pregnant with Hawks's child. When Dabi disappeared, no one noticed until it was too late.

Dabi arrived at a small town. There he saw him leaning against the wall as if he knew Dabi would come to him. Dabi wanted to look away but he held his ground as he walked over to him.

       "Raven"

"It's been so long. How's my dear brother? Your family?"

       "Cut the bullshit."

       "Now that's just rude."

       "...You've won."

"Oh I did? All your loved ones abandoned you again?"

Dabi looks away, avoiding eye contact.

"Don't look away from. I told you this would happen but that's okay."

"How is it okay? Everyone I-

"You still have me, no matter what. I will always have your back."

"Let's go home," he grabs Dabi's hand and leads him away towards the station. Dabi tried to weakly pull his hand away, but there was no fight left inside him anymore.

       "Okay..." he whispered

A week and a half passed.

Hawks has been missing Dabi more than he likes to admit. He kind of expected Dabi to come back by now. It's not the first time they have broken up; they have always gotten back together after a few days of cooling down. When Dabi said "this will be the last you will ever see of me", he didn't think much about it. Dabi tends to be dramatic. When he finds a package of all of his stuff that he left at Dabi's apartment, he doesn't know what to do, Dabi has never done this. He tried contacting him through a series of text messages and calls but they just went to voicemail. After a while, he went to one of his staff that he trusts not to ask questions to find where the number he is texting is only to find it almost impossible to trace. Hawks goes to talk to Dabi's family to see if he was there only for him to get shrugs and "I don't know" as answers to where Dabi could be. They weren't worried. They know Dabi will come back as he always has before. They tell Hawks is just being paranoid but is he really?

A month has passed and still no sign of Dabi. Hawks looks through the closet to see a gift box. Curious, he opened the box only to see the Endeavor plushie from his childhood but how is that possible if he saw Dabi burn it to ash. There was a piece of paper with Dabi's writing. The notes talk about how the plushie was the original/real one, how Dabi knew how important that plushie was to him. How Dabi made a replica as a precaution in case he ever got really mad & went too far while hiding the real thing in the gift box.
