Dear Enola. ♡

chapter 3

Enola pov:

I could tell the train was almost there because they started to call people off where they wanted to be dropped off and it was almost time my turn to leave the train. And I was excited I wanted more than anything to see tewkesburys goofy smirk again.

He made me happy when I was scared about losing my mother. He calmed me down. And I've always knew he was going to be by my side forever I just wish he thought the same.

The train finally stopped at basil weather and as soon as it stopped i rushed off of it and started ran straight to the front door of the palace. It looked the same.

Tewkesbury pov:

I seen a train stop by my house through the window and I thought it was slightly off, until I seen enola. I immediately ran downstairs as fast as i could so I could be the one to greet her. Wait...what am I doing? Would she even want to see me?... but why would she be here.? I really hope she came to see me. I opened up the door for her and just starred for a brief moment.

Enola: hey nincompoop! :)

As soon as I heard her voice I froze but I knew I had to say something so I said the first thing that came to my mind in that moment.

Tewkesbury: I'm so glad to see you enola :) I missed you...

Enola: i did too tewkesbury but i just want to talk with you for a bit. And I also came to visit. Would I be able to stay for awhile?

I couldn't believe what she had just said to me...she wanted to stay with me. She came to visit me? Wow wasnt expecting this.

Tewkesbury: yeah sure :) come on in enola.

She smiled cutely at me and walked past me as I opened the door wider for her. Ugh shes so damn cute. Everything about her. The way she flipped her gorgeous brown hair pass me and her gorgeous hazel eyes as we looked into each others eyes when we each seen each other.

I missed her so much and now shes finally with me again. Shes actually with me!! :)

Enola pov:

When I walked into tewkesburys house I remembered my times in there when i was trying to save him from his own grandmother. And when we almost died. I could've lost him. I was so scared at in that moment I really thought I was about to lose the only person I ever grown onto and loved.

But as I was continuing to walk around and explore his house. I remembered how beautiful it was. I also remembered all the servants who work for his family. So it wasnt to crowded but still a little bit.

I was now following tewkesbury because he told me to follow him and so I did. I realized he lead me to his room because it looked alot like a boys room would look like. He had sooo many books about flowers and that caught my eye first. He even had one about crysanthenems. And that made me happy so I asked him if I could read it while I was here.

Enola: Wow all these books are amazing mind if I read this one right here?

Tewkesbury: I dont mind. Go for it. :)

Enola: thanks tewks :)

Tewkesbury pov:

"Np enola" I said to her.
Wait did she call me tewks for short. Awee that's kinda cute I'm not gonna lie. Maybe she did like me. I really hoped so.

She just sat down on my couch by the balcony and read her book looking out at the sunset because it was sundown because it took a while for her to get here. And I sat down beside her and pointed out a few of my favourite parts that I marked off with a bookmark. And she continued reading with now more interest. I wanted so badly to wrap my arm around her but I didn't wanna take it to fast so I just sat there with her and watched the sunset as she was reading. And that's when she said.

Enola: it's so peaceful out here. The sky is soo beautiful from up here.

I said to her "yeah it is...wanna know something?"
She said again.

Enola: sure. What is it?

I then said "I always liked coming out here and watching the sunset I've always came here relax since I was five years old. It's kind of like my small hobby when I'm really feeling down sometimes or even just feeling great."

She then said

Enola: that's really nice I wish able to be with you for the few months I was gone.

That made me freeze and for a moment I just starred and then responded. "You really wanted to be with a nincompoop like me?" I said with a smirk.

Enola: of course your a nincompoop yes, but I still missed you alot. You know right.?

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She missed me!! That's what I've been waiting to here for a while. I missed her so much and all I wanted to know all the months is that she missed me and now I actually know she did.

So I said "I missed you too enola. I really did"

That's when whe put her book and down and gave me the biggest hug.
I was expecting something else but I'd take a hug from enola anyday.

That's when she said something that immediately caught my attention.

Enola: You're such a good friend tewkesbury! :) you know that right?

A friend? A good friend? I mean that's okay but really enola just a friend. I have to admit it broke my heart a little to hear that but I had to say something that would make her think I loved as a 'friend' I guess.
So I said "thanks Enola :) you're my best friend too."

She just smiled and gave me a hug again. And then asked where she'd be sleeping.

Enola: So where am I gonna sleep?

"Well you use my bed to sleep and I'll just sleep on the couch over there?"

Enola: you sure?
She said as if she was concerned.
"It looks a bit uncomfortable there. You know I wouldn't mind if we shared a bed"

My mouth almost dropped. She actually wanted to share a bed? Wow imagine sharing my bed with enola holmes. The love of my life. Ok pretend I never said that okay.

"I guess we can... would you be comfortable sharing a bed with me"

Enola: Yeah it's no problem after all were besties right?

Everytime she said friends or anything having to do with friends I felt my heart sink.

"Of course yeah yeah we can. Well we should get some supper now right?

Enola: Omg yes. I'm starving. Let's go.

"Yeah let's go!"
